The latest former WWE star to make their return to WWE under the new Triple H regime happened on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw.
On the show, Nikki A.S.H was in the ring awaiting her opponent, which was expected to be Doudrop, but was instead former NXT star Candice LeRae.
LeRae took time away from WWE last year due to her pregnancy. Her contract expired and she was among the names speculated to be signing with AEW. Once her husband Johnny Gargano returned to Raw a few weeks ago, it became more clear that LeRae was likely returning to WWE.
The Poison Pixie spent nearly five years in “NXT” after debuting on the old Black & Gold show back in April 2017. During her time in WWE’s developmental show, LeRae unsuccessfully challenged for the “NXT” Women’s Title on several occasions against the likes of IYO SKY, Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley.
The announcers would confirm that LeRae had joined the “Raw” brand.
