Britt Baker Reacts To Saraya's AEW Debut

Britt Baker Reacts To Saraya’s AEW Debut – AEW superstar and former women’s champion Britt Baker gave her thoughts on the debut of Saraya (formerly known as Paige in WWE) following her loss at last night’s Grand Slam Dynamite event. AEW released exclusive backstage footage of the DMD’s thoughts, which you can check out below.

Says her and Jamie Hayter are good now:

“I’m good, and most importantly, we’re good. We’ve been through the good, the bad and the ugly together and we came out on top. You know, I originally brought Jamie [Hayter] to AEW to protect me but now, Jamie is my best friend. I need her just as much as she needs me. We’re a team, we’re a unit and this is our house Saraya.”

Comments on Saraya debuting:

“I don’t know where you came from or where you think you’re going from here, but you might as well turn around right now because there is not room for you here in AEW.”

Recently, Baker noted that Saraya is one of her dream opponent.

“I think AEW could be the right place for anybody really because we have such a good platform, such good coaches, and the best fans in the world,” Baker stated. “I’m a huge fan of Paige. I love her. I love her mom. I’ve wrestled her mom before. She’s such an inspirational female. That girl has gone through it all, and she’s still, pardon my swearing, but she’s such a bad b***h, and she has that everything roll off your back energy. You can’t get to her. You know what I’m saying?”

Baker continued, “She holds her head high and her in a wrestling ring again. If I’m not in the match, I want to be ringside watching it because she was one of my favorites to watch. Her energy. She would come out and do the sideways skip up the ramp. It made me so excited. I used to play her entrance music in my car. So, I’m a big fan.”
