Big Steel Cage Title Match Set For RAW – Following WWE Clash at the Castle, The Miz took to Twitter to talk about how he would have beaten Bobby Lashley on August 29 if it wasn’t for Dexter Lumis.
As a result, he wants to challenge Lashley for the United States Championship inside a steel cage on the Labor Day edition of RAW this Monday to keep Lumis out.
Miz, who is on vacation with Maryse, stated that he wants to make the U.S. title prestigious again as he believes it should be represented at every WWE Premium Live Event. In fact, he wants to elevate the star-spangled gold to be bigger than every other title in WWE, including the Universal Championship.
Dexter Lumis has targeted The Miz since returning to WWE on August 8. It remains to be seen why he has taken a particular interest in the self-proclaimed A-List WWE superstar.
While Lashley vs. Miz inside a steel cage is the only match officially announced for Monday’s Raw so far, expect to see more fallout from Clash at the Castle as the road to Extreme Rules begins.
