AEW Dynamite Viewership Drops Below 1 Million

After five consecutive weeks, 9/28 episode of AEW Dynamite viewership drops below 1 million again.

According to Showbuzz Daily, 990,000 viewers watched the show, and it drew a 0.34 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership was down from the September 21 episode when 1,039,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.35 rating in the same demographic.

With the decrease in viewership and the non-stop coverage of Hurricane Ian, AEW Dynamite dropped to ninth place in the demographic among cable originals overall last night. This week’s show kicked off with Chris Jericho and The Jericho Appreciation Society celebrating his Ring of Honor World Championship win. There was a standoff between Daniel Garcia and Jericho which saw Bryan Danielson get involved as well. The main event of the show saw Chris Jericho defeat Bandido to retain the Ring of Honor World Championship.

Viewership numbers for the month of September:

Sep 7: 1.035
Sep 14: 1.175
Sep 21: 1.039
