The latest edition of WWE SmackDown saw the ratings drop. The show averaged 2.212 million viewers on FOX, down from 2.367 million a week ago, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.50 rating, down from the 0.57rating a week ago. This was SmackDown’s fallout edition for the Clash at the Castle event.
Last week was the highest total viewership since June 17th. It was the best key demo rating since July 22. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show compared to last week:
- Viewers 18-34 – 0.29 – a week ago: 0.35
- Viewers 18-49 – 0.50 – a week ago: 0.57
- Viewers 25-54 – 0.66 – a week ago: 0.75
- Female viewers 18-49 – 4.6 – a week ago: 4.5
- Male viewers 18-49 – 6.5 – a week ago: 7.4
- Viewers 50+ – 3.3 – a week ago: 3.4

- 9/2/22: 2,077,000 viewers – 0.49 key demo rating – Clash at the Castle go-home show

- 9/16/22: 2,212,000 viewers – 0.50 key demo rating
As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 470,000 viewers and a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm ET time slot. Last week the show did 429,000 viewers and a 0.14 rating.
