WWE Reached Out To Multiple Contracted AEW Wrestlers

WWE Reached Out To Multiple Contracted AEW Wrestlers – As was noted on Wednesday, Tony Khan held a talent meeting on AEW Dynamite. It was described as a “rah rah” speech and most of the talent were said to be feeling better about things.

Prior to the speech, there was unhappiness backstage among many of the wrestlers. Konnan recently stated on his podcast stated that several wrestlers told him about unhappiness with the booking.

Also during the talent meeting, it was revealed that AEW sent out a letter to WWE to warn them about contract tampering. Dave Meltzer added on Wrestling Observer Radio that multiple people were contacted by WWE.

Meltzer said, “Apparently there’s been people going ‘who’s the person’ and trying to make guesses who the person is that was tampered with. I don’t know the details but multiple people have been contacted from WWE. So that’s where this comes from. It’s not like it’s one person. It’s a few people.”

We don’t know the names who have been contacted but the pattern so far with Triple H is that the names he’s brought back previously worked for him in NXT. Chris Jericho has made some comments on social media to allude that he could be one of those.
