WWE Has Seen A Major Positive Change Under New Management

For years, there had been the feeling of people “walking on eggshells” in WWE with Vince McMahon running things. Since his resignation and Triple H taking over as head of creative while Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan are now co-CEOS, positive reports have been coming out of the company.

Pwinsider reports that the old feeling in the company “has quickly faded away, replaced instead with a renewed hope and pride for those working for the company.”

One department where the change has been described as “massively night and day” is in production as the new regime is different from how Vince handled things. It was said there isn’t anyone yelling at the production truck or the announcers anymore.

It’s been well documented that McMahon was extremely heavy-handed verbally with the production of his programming. Mick Foley famous quit being the SmackDown commentator because he didn’t like being yelled at by McMahon through his headset.

It was said that Mondays and Fridays are no longer seen as the worst days of the job by those who work on WWE’s TV production side. Instead, the department has started to settle into a situation where “everyone isn’t walking in and out expecting some sort of PTSD to follow them home the next day after Raw and SmackDown.”

Pwinsider’s report continued by noting that the entire production department (announcers, cameramen, producers, directors, etc) has been extremely happy over the last few weeks. One source said it “allowed to feel like it’s fun to work here.” This has led to a better flow and engagement across the board and more camaraderie in the department.

Those looking to leave the company a few months ago have reconsidered that decision because of how happy they are and how they hope the new regime’s current “honeymoon feeling” remains.
