Update On Becky Lynch Injury At SummerSlam – As noted, there had been some concern that Becky Lynch may have suffered an injury during her match against Bianca Belair at WWE SummerSlam this past Saturday, specifically when she landed badly on her shoulder.
Lynch pushed through and finished the match, with Belair retaining her title. After the match saw the formation of Bayley’s new faction with the returning Dakota Kai and IYO SKY (Io Shirai)
Lynch was escorted backstage with two of WWE’s medical team while holding her arm.
In Sunday’s daily update on F4Wonline.com, Dave Meltzer noted there were “no reports of any injuries off” Saturday’s SummerSlam.
As previously reported, Vince McMahon wanted Lynch to remain a heel following SummerSlam. However, with Triple H now in charge of creative, she is once again a babyface after shaking hands with Belair and standing up with her against the new faction.
