The 7/29 SmackDown episode saw the ratings decrease. The show averaged 2.193 million viewers on FOX, which is down from 2.256 million a week ago, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.52 rating, down from the 0.62 rating a week ago. This was the go-home show for SummerSlam.

As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 375,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm ET time slot. Last week the show did 428,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating.
Last week was the highest key demo rating since April 22nd. This week it was the second-lowest key demo rating for Rampage in its normal time slot in the show’s history and the second-lowest total viewership in the normal time slot. The June 17, 2022 episode did a lower key demo rating.
