WWE RAW Results (8/8) Cleveland, OH – We start off with footage of the return of the Bayley Bunch at SummerSlam and what they did to Becky, Bianca, Asuka, and Alexa on last week’s Raw.
We see the brackets for the Women’s Tag Team Tournament and tonight we will see Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky versus Tamina and Dana Brooke in a first round match.
Bayley’s Bunch (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky) make their way to the ring.
Bayley greets everyone with Ding Dong and she wonders why the people are booing them. They are so excited to see your dumb, smiley faces. We don’t want to be here either, but you need us. We know that you came here to see us salvage this divison. Dakota talks about how they shook things up by crashing SummerSlam. Bayley says you couldn’t enjoy watching Becky play dress up each week or cheer for Bianca Belair. Bianca would be nothing without her. That is why they had to make a statement.
They had to take care of Becky’s shoulder and then light a fire under everyone in the locker room. We are bringing back what is missing.
Iyo mentions THE HUNGER.
Bayley says you deserve a women’s division that is hungry. You don’t know what to do without me. I learned if you cannot find the answers, ask better questions. Bayley asks how is she the only one to realize what a lethal weapon Iyo Sky is. Why am I the only one to recognize the benefits of Dakota Kai. Can you imagine how much they have been boiling inside.
Dakota tells Bayley she doesn’t have to tell them any more. We will show when we enter the tag tournament tonight and win.
Alexa Bliss’ music plays and she comes out. She is joined by Asuka.
They are also joined by Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair.
Alexa says lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. She wanted to give them a ding dong heads up. You are not winning the tournament. If you win tonight, you will have to face her and Asuka. After what you pulled last week, it gives us more incentive to beat you and win the Women’s Tag Titles.
Bianca says she is not finished with Iyo. She is happy to get back in the ring and finish things with her. If we are playing the numbers game, the three of us have no problem dealing with the three of you.
Bayley tells Bianca to calm down. Bayley says they are calling the shots. Let’s do the three on three thing where it counts. How about the three of you against the three of us at Clash at the Castle?
Bianca says challenge accepted. While you are trying to keep control, tonight, I feel like losing it.
Bianca punches Bayley and then Alexa and Asuka go after Dakota and Iyo. All six women brawl at ringside. Bianca and Bayley fight into the crowd while the other four fight at ringside. They all make their way into the crowd and continue their brawl. Alexa with a cross body off the ringside barrier onto the other five women.
We go to commercial while the officials try to get things under control.
Seth Rollins vs. Angelo Dawkins (with Montez Ford)
They lock up and Rollins with a side head lock and a thrust kick. Rollins misses Black Out when Dawkins moves. They lock up and Dawkins with a side head lock. Dawkins with a drop kick for a near fall. Dawkins with a wrist lock and arm wringer. Dawkins with a corkscrew back elbow and Rollins goes to the floor. Ford has some words for Rollins and that distraction allows Dawkins to POUNCE Rollins over the announce table.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rollins with an arm bar and wrist lock. Dawkins with forearms. Dawkins with an Irish whip and Rollins with a flatliner into the turnbuckles. Ford tries to motivate Dawkins and Rollins kicks Ford. Ford gets a chair and comes into the ring but the referee holds Ford back and tells him to get out of the ring and go to the back.
Rollins turns around after cackling at Ford’s trip to the back and he is clotheslined over the top rope to the floor. Dawkins with a flip dive onto Rollins and they return to the ring. Dawkins with a t-bone suplex and an enzuigiri in the corner. Dawkins with Silencer for a near fall. Dawkins goes for a slam but Rollins gets to his feet and gets a near fall with an O’Connor Roll. Rollins with a KO but he misses Black Out. Dawkins with a Sky High for a near fall. Rollins rolls to the floor. Dawkins misses a shoulder and hits the ring steps. Rollins misses Black Out but Rollins blocks Sky High and hits an arm wringer followed by a Pedigree for the three count.
Winner: Seth Rollins
After the match, Rollins with Black Out. Ford comes to the ring to force Rollins out of the ring after the attack.
— We take a look at The Judgment Day and Edge’s comments from last week.
Backstage:
Rey and Dominik Mysterio are in the back and Edge shows up and he tells them he has their backs against THE Judgment Day. Edge tells Dominik it was an accident last week and he asks Dominik if they are cool. Dominik pushes Edge and Rey holds Dominik back. Rey tells Dominik he has known him for 20 years and he is familia. Dominik says that Rey has known him for 25 years and wonders why he is taking Edge’s side.

Backstage:
Kevin Patrick is with Miz and Ciampa. Kevin asks Ciampa about his chances tonight. Miz yells at Kevin for calling it phenomenal. Miz says AJ is a bad person for teaming with that hack. Ciampa says if you want something to believe in. Believe in Ciampa. The first US Champion believed in him, Harley Race. He is the reason why he is this way. Ciampa says he is dedicating his win to the King Harley Race . . . AND with Harley looking down, this will be his moment. When I step foot in that ring and Bobby Lashley looks in my eye, he will see my sacrifice and know that he has already lost.
Ezekiel vs. Kevin Owens
Owens punches and kicks Ezekiel as the bell rings and he sends Ezekiel into the ring post and announce table. Owens sends Ezekiel into the announce table again. Owens sets for a power bomb on the apron and he hits it.
Officials call for the medical staff to check on Ezekiel and Owens gets back into the ring. While the paramedics come to the ring to put Ezekiel on the stretcher, Owens smiles in the ring.

In the Arena:
Finn says that Edge thinks they should fear him. Rey says that they should fear them. Dominik has abandoned them both. The Judgment Day fears no one. Fear is not real, it is a product of your imagination. Danger is real. It is very real. Rey, you will find out tonight that I am danger.
Damian tells Edge he is going to be clear with him. If I wanted to, I would lay you out, but in two weeks, we will be in Toronto and I am challenging you to a match. If you still have a set, let’s end this. Edge, you may have started the Judgment Day, but in Toronto in front of your friends and family, The Judgment Day will end you.
— Rey Mysterio walks in the back and Edge stops him. Rey says he has no idea where Dominik is. Edge says he will come out with Rey. Rey tells Edge that will only make things worse

Finn Balor vs. Rey Mysterio
Balor with kicks to Rey and he sends him into the turnbuckles. Rey sends Balor into the turnbuckles a few times and follows with a punch. Balor with an Irish whip but Rey with a back elbow and a head scissors take down that sends Finn to the floor. Rey with a seated splash off the apron. Rey sends Finn back into the ring.
Rey goes to the turnbuckles and hits a seated splash. Rey with a head scissors that sends Balor into the turnbuckles. Rey misses a springboard cross body when Balor moves. Balor kicks Rey many times. Balor with forearms to the lower back. Rey with a shoulder and a sunset flip for a near fall. Finn with an elevated elbow drop for a near fall. Finn with a suplex and he holds on and rolls through for a second one. Balor holds on and rolls through for a third one to go full Eddie but Rey counters with a suplex of his own. Rey with kicks and forearms followed by another kick and clothesline. Balor with a kick and a sunset flip but you don’t sunset flip Rey Mysterio and he rolls through and hits a drop kick for a near fall.
Rey with punches on the turnbuckles. Finn gets Rey on his shoulders and Rey with a bulldog. Rey gets a near fall. Rey drop kicks Finn into the ropes and Rey hits Priest when Priest tries to protect Finn. Rey is sent into the ring post.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Finn sets for a superplex but Rey with punches and a sunset flip power bomb attempt but Balor holds on to the ropes and Rey drops Balor on the turnbuckles. Rey with a head scissors that sends Balor to the floor and Rey with a sliding sunset flip power bomb into the ringside barrier. Rey sends Finn back into the ring and he has some words for Priest. Rey with a kick on the apron and Priest trips Rey when the referee was not looking.
Edge’s music plays and he goes after Priest. Edge kicks Priest into the crowd and they fight through the crowd.
Rey lands on his feet when Finn pulls him up and Rey with a Code Red for a near fall. They exchange punches and then Rey follows with kicks and an enzuigiri. Balor with a clothesline. Balor with a drop kick that sends Rey into the turnbuckles. Balor goes up top for the Coup de Grace and misses when Rey moves. Rey with a head scissors that sends Finn into the ropes. Rhea Riply carries Dominik to the stage and puts him down and Dominik is out cold.
Finn grabs Balor and hits 1916 followed by Coup de Grace for the three count.
Winner: Finn Balor
Backstage:
Sarah is in the back with Tamina and Dana Brooke. She asks them about being in the tournament. Dana says it is an opportunity to become a double champion. She needs a partner to get there. She has defended this title a lot and Tamina has been her biggest challenger. Bayley’s Bunch shows up and Bayley points out she was the first tag title holder. Tamina tells Bayley to keep yapping her mouth. She has no problem taking them out of the tournament right now. Iyo tells them that she does not like them.

Tamina and Dana Brooke vs. Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai in a First Round Match in the Women’s Tag Team Tournament
Dana and Dakota start things off. They lock up and Dana with a waist lock. Dakota with a standing switch and Dana with a side head lock. Dana with a hip toss and a cartwheel followed by a kick for a near fall. Dana with a front face lock. Tamina tags in and Tamina with punches and she knocks Iyo off the apron. Tamina with a kick and suplex to Dakota. Dakota rolls to the floor and Iyo checks on Dakota. Dana goes up top and this a cross body off the turnbuckles onto Dakota and Iyo.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dakota stretches Dana. We see footage of Iyo sending Dana into the ringside barrier during the commercial break. Dakota with a kick and she gets a near fall. Iyo tags in and Dakota with a kick and Iyo with a flatliner. Dakota with another kick and Iyo with a drop kick for a near fall. Iyo with an Irish whip and cross body into the corner. Iyo with kicks in the corner and then she chokes Dana and hits a hesitation double knee strike for a near fall.
Dakota tags in and applies a reverse chin lock and gets a near fall. Dana with a power bomb for a near fall. Dakota pulls Dana to her corner and tags in Iyo. Tamina makes the tag and she sends Iyo into the turnbuckles. Tamina with a clothesline and a thrust kick to Dakota. Tamina with a splash into the corner and follows with an elbow. Iyo with a back heel kick and forearms. Iyo with a Shotei but Tamina with a thrust kick and Samoan drop for a near fall. Kai and Dana go to the floor and Bayley pulls Dakota out of the way and Dana hits the ringside barrier. Iyo and Tamina go up top and Dakota tags in. Tamina kicks Dakota off the apron and knocks Iyo to the mat. Tamina goes for a frog splash on Iyo, even though she is not the legl person in the match. Iyo gets her feet up and Dakota with a Scorpion kick and a Yakuza Kick. Iyo tags in and hits a moonsault for the three count.
Winners: Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky (advance to face winner of Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop versus Asuka and Alexa Bliss)
— Bobby Lashley is in the back getting ready for his match against Ciampa.

— We are back with another look at what Kevin Owens did to Ezekiel.
Backstage:
Kevin Patrick tries to get comments from Kevin Owens about what he did to Ezekiel. Kevin threatens Kevin if he does that again. Kevin says he knows who he is and he says there are more eyes on this show than before so he wanted to remind everyone that this is still THE KEVIN OWENS Show.
— We take a look at Dominik Mysterio distracting his father to cost him his match against Finn Balor.
— Dominik is in the medical training room and he is being checked out.
— We see the United States Championship video that aired last week.

Ciampa vs. Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship
The Miz accompanied Ciampa and was ringside for the match.
Ciampa with punches and Lashley with a shoulder tackle. Lashley sets for a delayed vertical suplex and hits it. Lashley with punches in the corner but Ciampa pulls Lashley off the turnbuckles. Lashley with elbows. Lashley catches Ciampa on a leap frog but Ciampa gets to his feet and he clips Lashley. Ciampa with kicks and chops to Lashley. Lashley blocks a kick and hits a spinning back elbow. Ciampa rolls to the floor and Miz advises his young charge. Miz gets on the apron to try to distract Lashley but it does not work. Lashley knocks Ciampa off the apron and then he tries to run Ciampa into the ring post but Miz gets in the way. Lashley tosses Ciampa to Miz and we go to commercial.
We are back and Ciampa starts to remove the turnbuckle pad but he decides to kick Lashley. Ciampa gets a near fall. Ciampa with a reverse chin lock. We see footage of Ciampa hitting a running knee to knock Lashley off the apron during the commercial break. Lashley with a shoulder tackle and clothesline followed a shoulder into the corner. Lashley with a clothesline and shoulder in the corner. Lashley with an Irish whip but Ciampa with a boot. Lashley with a Dominator for a near fall. Lashley gets Ciampa up for a press slam but Ciampa gets to his feet and hits a reverse DDT for a near fall. Ciampa and Lashley exchange punches and Lashley gains the advantage. Ciampa with a kick and DDT for a near fall.
Lashley blocks Fairy Tale Ending and Lashley with a spear but Ciampa’s foot is on the ropes to stop the count. AJ Styles with a running forearm to Miz and they fight through the crowd. Ciampa with an inside cradle for a near fall. Ciampa pulls off the turnbuckles pad and Lashley with a flatliner. Lashley sets for the full nelson and AJ and Miz go through the ring. The referee and Lashley are confused. Ciampa sends Lashley into the exposed turnbuckle and ring post. Ciampa with a running knee but he can only get a near fall. Ciampa sets for Fairy Tale Ending but Lashley escapes. Ciampa with a GargaNo Escape. Lashley rolls through and gets Ciampa up. Ciampa sends Lashley to the floor and Ciampa hits Willow’s Bell for a near fall.
Lashley blocks a knee and hits a spinebuster. Lashley with a full nelson and Ciampa taps out.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
— Omos and Montel Vontavious Porter walk in the back as we go to commercial.
— We are back with a footage of Miz and AJ Styles fighting in the back and they were eventually separated. They will meet tonight in a No Disqualification Match.
Omos vs. Two Enhancement Talent
Both men go after Omos but he sends one over the top rope and he pushes the other one away. Guercio is pulled back into the ring and Slade with a sleeper. Omos backs Slade into the turnbuckles. Omos catches Guercio off the turnbuckles and then tosses him face first to the mat. Omos with a biel to Guercio and then he hits an elbow in the corner. Omos with Snake Eyes to Guercio and a boot to Slade. Omos with a choke slam to Guercio and he gets the three count with a Jericho cover.
Winner: Omos
Backstage:
Kevin Patrick is in the back with Seth Rollins. Seth cackles and he is asked about Riddle’s interview next week and what might Riddle say. Seth asks if he was brought in here to be asked about Riddle. Seth says he was done with Riddle, and he cackles. What will he say next week? It’s Riddle, he is going to say bro, dude, cool, Randy. Seth says he is the gatekeeper of this industry. You have to go through him. As great as Riddle could be in the ring, he is even better at flushing his own potential down the toilet. Seth cackles. He says to ask Dana White. If Riddle has even two working cells in his brain, he is going to tell the world Bro, I’m hanging up the flip flops and he will retire. Seth says he might have to Cody Rhodes Riddle’s ass out the door. Seth cackles. If Riddle has anything to say next week, so does Seth Rollins. Seth cackles and walks away.

Chad Gable vs. Dolph Ziggler
They lock u and Ziggler with a waist lock take down. Gable with a rollup for a near fall. Ziggler with a single leg but Gable tries for a counter. Ziggler with a rollup for a near fall. They lock up and Gable with a single leg take down and Ziggler gets a rollup for a near fall. Gable goes for the leg and both men roll through. Gable with a double leg but Ziggler counters into a sunset flip for a near fall. Gable with a jackknife cover and Ziggler bridges.
Ziggler goes for a back slide but Gable blocks it. Gable with Chaos Theory. Gable with punches and kicks to Ziggler in the corner. Gable with a dragon screw leg whip and knee drops to the leg. Gable hyper-extends the leg. Gable with a chop and he gets a near fall. Ziggler with a hesitation DDT and he gets a near fall. Gable blocks a super kick and Gable with a rollup into an ankle lock. Ziggler with forearms to the leg to try to get Gable off his feet but Gable rolls through and holds on.
Ziggler with a kick to the knee and he misses a Fameasser. Gable returns to the ankle lock. Ziggler goes for a super kick but his leg gives out. Gable with a power bomb for a near fall and he returns to the ankle lock. Ziggler gets a near fall. Ziggler with a super kick and he gets the three count.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
After the match, Otis goes after Ziggler but Ziggler escapes.
— Next week, the other Raw Tag Title Tournament match between the teams of Asuka and Alexa Bliss and Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H.
Backstage:
Nikki says there will no more almosts. They will be one step closer to the tag titles. Doudrop says they will get to crush the hopes and dreams of Asuka and Alexa.Alexa tells them they have it wrong. They will not stop them because Asuka says NO ONE IS READY for Asuka or Alexa Bliss. The Bayley Bunch shows up while the police run past and The Bayley Bunch walks away.
AJ walks in the back as we go to commercial.
AJ Styles vs. The Miz in a No Disqualification Match
AJ with punches and a double leg take down. AJ sends Miz into the announce table a few times. AJ rearranges the table and Miz hot shots AJ on the apron and sends him into the ring steps. Miz goes under the ring but AJ with a sliding knee. AJ gets a kendo stick and other weapons from under the ring but Miz with a baseball slide. Miz sends AJ back into the ring and gets the kendo stick. Miz hits AJ in the midsection and back with the kendo stick.
AJ with forearms to Miz in the chair and AJ with a flying forearm. AJ clotheslines Miz over the top rope. AJ puts Miz on the announce table and sets for a Styles Clash but Miz with a double thrust and he sends AJ over the ringside barrier to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and AJ gets a table from under the ring. Miz hits AJ with the kendo stick and he sends AJ back into the ring. Miz with more kendo stick shots. Miz chokes AJ with the kendo stick. AJ with elbows and a Pele Kick after Miz goes Joey Gallo with the kendo stick. The kendo stick is in the middle of the ring and AJ gets it first. AJ hits Miz with the kendo stick in the ribs and back. AJ goes for the family jewels and lifts Miz up. AJ with a White Russian leg sweep for a near fall.
Miz with a kick and AJ with a victory roll for a near fall. AJ with a forearm and he sets for the Pheonomenal Forearm and hits it but Ciampa pulls the referee out of the ring. AJ hits Ciampa from behind and sends him into the ring.
AJ sets for a Styles Clash but he sends Ciampa to the apron. Ciampa with a shoulder and Ciampa tries to suplex AJ through the table on the floor. AJ escapes and he knocks Ciampa off the apron with a forearm and Ciampa goes through the table. Miz with a rollup for a near fall. AJ goes to the apron and sets for a Phenomenal Forearm but Miz throws a chair at Aj and Miz with a Skull Crushing Finale for a near fall. Miz hits AJ in the ankle with the kendo stick. Miz goes for a figure four leg lock but AJ kicks Miz into the chair in the corner. AJ with a Styles Clash for the three count.
Winner: AJ Styles
Police are at ringside and they are trying to stop someone in the front row. The referee tries to block what is going on but the announcers say it was Dexter Lumis.
