AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa appeared in a backstage segment on tonight’s AEW Dynamite episode to announce she has to step away and cannot compete at All Out due to an injury.
As a result, All Out will feature a four-way bout between Toni Storm, Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Jamie Hayter to determine the interim champion.
Thunder Rosa was set to defend against Toni Storm in a rematch from Forbidden Door. A timeframe for Rosa’s return has not been announced.
The nature of the injury was not revealed but there had been rumors for months that Rosa had been working while hurt.
