
8/12 WWE SmackDown episode averaged 1.927 million viewers on FOX, which is down from 2.093 million a week ago, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.44 rating, down from the 0.49 rating a week ago. Both the key demo and total viewership were the lowest since the June 10th episode. There were some markets that aired NFL pre-season games instead of airing SmackDown, which impacted SmackDown’s ratings.
Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show compared to last week:
- Viewers 18-34 – 0.21 – a week ago: 0.25
- Viewers 18-49 – 0.44 – a week ago: 0.49
- Viewers 25-54 – 0.56 – a week ago: 0.66
- Female viewers 18-49 – 3.7 – a week ago: 4.2
- Male viewers 18-49 – 6.2 – a week ago: 7.8
- Viewers 50+ – 2.9 – a week ago: 3.2
As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 528,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm ET time slot. Last week the show did 468,000 viewers and a 0.15 rating.
This was the highest total viewership since April 8th and the highest key demo rating since July 22nd.
Rampage ranked #10 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night, down from last week with a #5 ranking. Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics reported the news. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show:
