Tyson Fury Reportedly Open To Match With Logan Paul

Tyson Fury – Logan Paul Match? – Tyson Fury could be making a return to WWE later this summer as he is in talks with WWE. As previously reported, nothing is finalized, and there are no concrete plans to have him on any shows, although discussions have taken place.

WWE wanted to have Fury challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title in the main event of a UK pay-per-view in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic nixed those plans.

WWE will hold the Clash at the Castle event on September 3rd, and while McIntyre vs. Fury would make sense to book, McIntyre has already issued a challenge to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns for a match at this event, although WWE has yet to confirm it.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer confirmed GiveMeSport’s report about Fury being in talks with WWE but noted that as of now, there is no deal with Fury for the show unless it’s being kept top secret.

Meltzer reported the belief within WWE is that Fury wants to go one-on-one with Logan Paul in a wrestling match. It would garner a ton of outside wrestling attention, but the price for the match would reportedly be high.

Paul recently signed a multiyear deal with WWE, and he is expected to face The Miz at SummerSlam on July 30.
