The Dyad Indentities Revealed – Joe Gacy is one of the featured characters on the WWE NXT brand since management decided to make sweeping changes to the roster and the overall direction of the brand. Tonight, WWE showed that they are still fully committed to the character and he now has two new henchmen (or followers) in his stable.
On tonight’s WWE NXT 2.0 broadcast, Gacy cut a promo about wanting to cleanse the brand. He then introduced his new followers.
The rumors about who would comprise The Dyad were confirmed tonight when the former Grizzled Young Veterans, James Drake, and Zack Gibson, revealed themselves.
As you can see in the photo, they have a completely different look and they are now going under the names Jagger Reid (Drake) and Rip Fowler (Gibson). The duo went through a purification ritual on tonight’s show.
It’s the latest in a long list of wrestlers that have gotten repackaged in recent months. Vince McMahon issued an edict several weeks ago about not wanting newer wrestlers to use their real names or names that they used on the independent scene so this change is not a surprise because James Drake’s real name is James Dowell.
