SummerSlam Spoilers On Seth Rollins And Riddle - Opening And Closing Matches

SummerSlam Spoilers – Despite the announcement about his match being pulled from WWE SummerSlam, it looks like Riddle will be a part of tonight’s show.

PWInsider reports that Riddle is currently backstage and he will be appearing on the show at least to give an interview or a promo about being attacked by Rollins last Monday night on Raw.

So, while he may not be wrestling on the show, it looks like there will be some sort of angle to further the storyline. The plan is for Riddle vs. Rollins to happen at the Clash at the Castle show in Cardiff, Wales. At this point, there’s no word on if there are plans for Rollins to wrestle someone else on tonight’s show.

In other SummerSlam news, WWE is kicking off tonight’s pay-per-view with a big title match.

The plan is for Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair vs. Becky Lynch to kick off the show. That is the current plan as of now and with Vince McMahon no longer running things, it does not seem as likely that those plans will change.

As for which matches are set to close out the show, the plan is for the SmackDown Women’s Championship match between champion Liv Morgan and challenger Ronda Rousey to be in the semi-main event slot.
