2022 WWE SummerSlam Results (7/30) – Kayla Braxton, Kevin Patrick, Booker T, Jerry Lawler, and Peter Rosenberg welcome us to the kick-off show. The panel runs through the card for tonight, then we go to Matt Camp with some fans outside the stadium.

— We take a look at the Raw Women’s Championship Match with a video package.

Kayla brings up last year’s SummerSlam match when Becky Lynch defeated Bianca for the title. Peter says she expects to win tonight, but this is the rubber match and the end for Bianca and Becky. Bianca needs to solidify her title reign. Booker says becoming champion gives you a cloak of invicibility. Booker says Bianca is going to go out and solidify that she is the best. Kayla asks Jerry who needs the win more. Jerry says they both need it more. Jerry says he is a Becky Lynch fan and she has been amazing. The comeback story will be the final chapter. Kevin follows up on the comeback story idea and mentions that Bianca finished a comeback story. Jerry says Becky will finish her comeback story and win tonight.

Kayla asks for picks and Jerry is going with Becky. Booker says Bianca is unstoppablEST. Kevin says Bianca completed the comeback but SummerSlam was the worst night last year. He is going with Becky. Peter says that Bianca is the future and he is going with Bianca.

— We have a video package for Happy Corbin and Pat McAfee.

Kayla asks what to expect. Peter says he has been impressed with Pat in the ring and he has delivered every time. He says Corbin may be his toughest opponent. Lawler talks about what Corbin has done in the ring and then says that McAfee was a kicker in football. Booker says he has had many superstars get in his face and he can brush back, but that is not his job. McAfee needs to know his damn role and Corbin is going to beat the hell out of him to show Pat why he sits behind the desk.

Kevin brings up the comparisons but it is Pat McAfee. Kevin goes with Pat. Peter picks Pat. Peter says Corbin is more skilled in the ring, but Pat has succeeded at everything. Booker says Pat has been going into business for himself. That isn’t how things works. Jerry says him and Booker can eat a can of alphabet soup and crap out better commentary than Pat.

— We take a look at the Mysterios versus The Judgment Day match with a video package.

Kevin brings up Rhea Ripley getting involved in the celebration. Booker says that he can see the worst happen. You don’t want to see a quiet man get involved, especially someone like Rey. Peter talks about how THE Judgment Day disrespected the Mysterios. Jerry says he likes Rey and he respects THE Judgment Day but can you trust someone who stabbed the back of their leader.

Peter picks The Mysterios. Kevin agrees with Peter. Booker says THE Judgment Day is too strong. Jerry says he likes it when it gets personal. Jerry picks The Mysterios.

— It is time to take a look at Logan Paul and The Miz. We have a video package.

Greg Miller joins the panel and he is the host of the show This is Awesome. He says the show is about the nostaglia and why people became WWE fans.

Kayla asks about Miz’ balls and then asks another question about Logan being a fan and if he can do it against Miz. Greg says this is the match to watch tonight. He says Logan turned heads at Wrestlemania. You wanted to hate him and then he did what he did at Mania. Kayla asks if Miz is angry the spotlight has been taken from him by Logan. Jerry says Logan proved him wrong but when you look at his wrestling accomplishment, it isn’t that much. He needs to sit under the learning tree with the Miz to become the top two influencers. Booker says it is easier to be a tag team wrestler as a newcomer.

Kayla asks for picks. Booker and Jerry pick Miz. Kevin picks The Miz as well. Greg says it is Logan Paul’s night.

Backstage:

We go to Sarah Schreiber backstage and she is with Theory. She asks him about what he is going to do tonight and how he feels. Theory says he feels like he is on top of the world. This is his time. After tonight, we will be in the Theory Era. He will take back his United States Championship and he will cash in the briefcase tonight. It does not matter who it is. He will walk to the ring, cash in the contract, and become the youngest Unified Champion.

Kayla reminds everyone that he has to face Lashley tonight.

Kevin brings up everyone who has issues with Theory. Booker says you want to be at the top or working with the one at the top. Theory is going to be big time. Greg says Theory is looking past Bobby Lashley. That makes Lashley angry. Jerry says Theory realizes that he has been the teacher’s pet and there is a substitute teacher. Theory has to be worried about that. Lashley is no walk in the park. Jerry says he does not think Theory gets past Lashley. Booker says he likes Theory. Even if you aren’t the best, you have to talk like the best. Theory has the briefcase and he will cash in at the right time.

Kayla asks if Theory will cash in. Booker says Theory will pick the right time. Booker says being a double champion will elevate Theory if he can do it. Booker picks Theory. Jerry, Kevin, and Greg pick Lashley.

— We take a look at the Smackdown Women’s Championship Match.

Kayla says that a survey on The Bump went with 77% of the people picking Liv.

Peter says this is a time where the champion is an underdog. Jerry says you cannot put stock in the opinion of the fans because they are speaking with their hearts. It wasn’t long ago that everyone loved Ronda. Now it has switched. The fans switched, not the wrestlers. It is not about the fans tonight, it is about those two women fighting for the title. Booker says he knows how hard you are willing to fight to keep the title. He says Ronda is looking past Liv. Liv does not have to win, she doesn’t have to lose. Peter picks Ronda and Kevin picks Liv. Booker picks Liv. Jerry picks Ronda.

— We take a look at the Men’s Tag Title match.

Peter says he wanted to see a rematch as soon as it ended at Money in the Bank. Booker says these teams are going to go to war. He says he is pulling for the Street Profits and they will get the job done. Peter is going with the Street Profits. Jerry says Jeff Jarrett is going to make an impact in the match. Kevin says he is going with the Street Profits. Jerry says to bet it all on the Bloodline.

— We go inside the stadium where Titus O’Neil presents some of the community leaders from Nashville.

— We have a video from the mystery man saying he is coming ‘To Nite’.

— We take a look at the Undisputed Men’s Championship Match.

Jerry wonders what will happen in this match. He says Paul Heyman is the smartest man in the world because he hitched his wagon to Roman Reigns. He dominated 2022 more than Tom Cruise and he cannot see Roman losing. Kayla says when Brock returned, people were in disbelief. Kevin talks about Roman seeing Brock come back. Peter says there might be more pressure on Brock tonight than any match in his career. He cannot lose back to back matches. Booker says Roman has been dominating over the last year. Booker says he saw a carnivore in Brock Lesnar when he came back. He wants to get his hands on that title. If anyone can do it, he thinks Brock can do it. Kevin wonders how you can keep either man down for a ten count. Booker says Brock will do what he has to do to win. Jerry says that Brock will work on instinct.

Kayla brings up Theory and will he cash in.

Booker says it shouldn’t happen tonight and Jerry agrees. Kevin says that both opponents will be exhausted tonight. Booker brings up that you have one shot and you need to be 100% sure. Peter feels that tonight could be the perfect situation.

They talk about Drew McIntyre and calling out Roman Reigns. Booker says Drew has done a great job keeping himself in the picture.

Kayla asks for picks. Peter goes with Roman. Booker picks Brock. Kevin goes with Brock. Jerry picks Roman.

2022 WWE SummerSlam Results

We’re shown scenes from the jam packed Nissan Stadium in Nashville Stadium. People are still arriving at the stadium for the biggest part of the summer. Jimmy Smith welcomes the fans to the main show and introduces his broadcast partners in Byron Saxton and Corey Graves.

RAW Women’s Championship Match
Bianca Belair (c) vs. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch arrives to the ring first. The announcers note how Lynch is supporting a smirking on her face. Bianca Belair is next. The E.S.T receives a huge ovation as she makes her way to the ring. Corey Graves notes that Bianca Belair has become unstoppable ever since she won the Raw Women’s Championship from Big Time Becky at WrestleMania 38.

They lock up and Becky escapes and Bianca goes into the ropes. Becky with a waist lock and Bianca with a standing switch and she tosses Becky into the ropes. Bianca with a waist lock and take down. Bianca backs Becky into the corner and Becky goes for a sunset flip but Bianca rolls through and hits a shoulder tackle. Becky with an ankle pick on a leap frog and Becky hyper-extends the shoulder. Becky works on the arm and sends Bianca into the ropes to add more damage to the shoulder. Becky with a divorce court to the arm. Becky with an arm wringer but Bianca counters with a handspring and back flip. Bianca with a drop kick and Becky goes to the floor.

Bianca gets Becky up and goes for a KOD but Becky lands on her feet and drops Bianca on the ringside barrier and hits a leg drop to the arm. They return to the ring and Becky gets a near fall. Becky with an exploder. Becky counters a suplex with an inside cradle for a near fall. Bianca sends Becky into the turnbuckles but Becky with a kick to the back and a clothesiine across the chest for a near fall.

Becky with a kick to the midsection. Bianca with forearms and Becky goes for the ankle but Bianca avoids a leg sweep. Becky with a take down and she gets a rollup for a near fall. Becky drop kicks Bianca to the apron. Becky with European uppercuts in the ropes. Becky goes to the turnbuckles and goes for a leg drop but Bianca counters with a power bomb. Bianca with a shoulder and forearm from the apron but Becky with a drop kick to send Bianca to the floor. Bianca catches Becky off the apron and Bianca sends Becky face first onto the apron. Becky blocks a slingshot suplex and Bianca blocks being pulled into the ring post by the hair. Bianca pulls Becky into the ring post and hits a suplex on the floor.

Bianca with a handspring moonsault for a near fall. Bianca with shoulders in the corner and Becky with an Irish whip. Bianca flips out of the corner and Becky with abn elbow. Becky with a cross body but Bianca rolls through and Bianca goes for a press slam but Bianca’s arm gives out. Becky with Diamond Dust for a near fall. Bianca and Becky exchange forearms. Becky with a knee and Bianca with a forearm against the roeps. Bekcy pulls Bianca by the hair and Bianca with an elbow. Bianca goes for a power bomb and Becky tries to counter into a rana but Bianca blocks it. Becky blocks a KOD and tries for DisArmHer but Bianca gets to the apron and floor to force a break.

Bianca holds on to Becky and hits a KOD on the floor. Bianca tries to pull Becky into the ring but Becky is dead weight. Becky is able to get back in at nine and change. Bianca gets Becky up for KOD but Becky lands on her feet. Becky with a kick to the arm but Bianca with a spinebuster. Bianca goes up top but Becky with an uppercut to stop Bianca. Becky tries for a superplex but Bianca blocks it. Becky pulls Bianca to the mat by the hair and hits a Manhandle Slam for a near fall. Becky with forearms to Bianca and she goes for DisArmHer but Bianca counters with a rollup. Bianca with an O’Connor Roll and Becky kicks out and sends Bianca to the turnbuckles. Becky goes for a Manhandle Slam off the turnbuckles but Bianca with Spanish Fly and KOD for the three count.

Winner: Bianca Belair

Saxton notes that redemption belongs to the E.S.T. Bianca lifts the title for the crowd to see. Lynch approaches her and extends her hand. The two hug it out and Lynch acknowledges Bianca as the Raw Women’s Champion.

Bianca goes to the top rope to celebrate but is stopped as Bayley’s music hit. The crowd goes wild as the multiple-time women’s champion enters the arena. Bayley stops midway and the crowd hears another music. It’s Dakota Kai and she’s back in the WWE. Corey Graves says Dakota Kai is not ever under WWE contract.

Bianca waits for them to enter the ring but hears another music. It’s Io Shira. The former NXT Women’s Champion joins Bayley and Kai as they have a staredown with the Raw Women’s Champion. The three then enter the ring. Bianca is all alone until Lynch comes to the ring, making it two to three. The crowd goes nuts on the sight and want the five to tear it apart but Bayley, Io and Kai exit the ring.

The Miz vs. Logan Paul

The Miz enters first. The A-lister is accompanied by Maryse and Ciampa. All three are wearing green. Maryse is grabbing Miz’s signature ‘gigantic balls.’ Logan Paul enters next. He is in his Pokemon-inspired gear. Paul also apparently has a new entrance music. The commentary team sells Logan Paul’s potential. Saxton says he’s in-experienced but adds he could be the best version of himself tonight.

They lock up and Miz backs Paul into the ropes and he pats Logan on the chest. Miz with a waist lock and Paul escapes but Miz with a snap mare and he goes for a boot but Logan covers up. Miz with a light kick to the head and Miz mocks Logan. Miz with a waist lock and Logan with a standing switch and take down. Miz with a back elbow and knee to the midsection. Paul lands on his feet on a hip toss and connects with a fireman’s carry. Miz covers up on a kick attempt and Paul with a light kick to the head.

Paul has a kick blocked and then he punches Miz. Miz misses a kick and Paul with a rollup for a near fall. Paul with a clothesline that sends Miz over the top rope to the floor and Paul with a moonsault off the apron. Miz with a chop in the corner. Logan avoids a chop and he connects with a series of chops on Miz. Miz with an Irish whip and Paul with a boot. Miz catches Paul in the turnbuckles and hits a Codebreaker. Miz kicks Logan in the chest.

Miz distracts the referee and Ciampa punches Logan from the floor. Miz works on the back. Miz with a reverse chin lock. Paul with an elbow. Miz with kicks to the chest followed by punches. Miz misses a knee in the corner and hits the turnbuckle. Paul with punches. Miz runs into a boot in the corner and Paul with a blockbuster. Both men are down. Paul with a clothesline and back elbow followed by a power slam for a near fall.

Paul with kicks to the chest. Paul misses a round kick but Paul clips Miz. Paul sets for the figure four leg lock and he locks it in. Paul gets a near fall because Miz’ shoulders are on the mat. Miz is able to roll to the ropes and force a break. Miz sends Paul to the apron and Paul with an elbow and cross body followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall. Miz with a back elbow to the head followed by a boot to the head. Paul with a back elbow and Miz goes down. Miz grabs the referee to distract him but he is able to see Ciampa and Ciampa is sent to the back.

Ciampa gets a chair and sits down at ringside. AJ Styles’ music plays and he hits Ciampa off the ringside barrier. Styles with punches and he sends Ciampa into the crowd. They fight to the back through the crowd.

Paul with a springboard forearm for a near fall. Paul adjusts the announce table and puts Miz on it. Paul gets back into the ring and Paul goes up top. Maryse tries to stop Paul but it does not work. Paul with a frog splash to Miz through the table. Paul gets Miz back in the ring and covers Miz but Maryse distracts the referee. Paul argues with Maryse while the referee tells Maryse to get off the apron. Miz tries to hit Paul with his Gem Mint Zero photo but Paul moves and he almost hits his wife but stops short. Paul with a Skull Crushing Finale for the three count.

Winner: Logan Paul

Paul looks into the camera after the match and says that’s how the champ does it.

— We see Brock Lesnar’s journey to superstardom. The vignette is followed by a Pure Life sponsorship for Maximum Male Models ma.çé’ and mån.sôör. Max Dupri says Pure Life is the water for MMM and he’s joined by Maxxine Dupri and their two associates.

WWE United States Championship Match
Theory vs. Bobby Lashley (c)

Before the match starts, Theory hits Lashley in the back with the briefcase while Lashley poses on the turnbuckles. Theory wants the match to start.

The match starts and Theory with punches and elbows. Lashley with a back elbow and a forearm. Theory with a rolling blockbuster for a near fall. Theory kicks Lashley in the ribs. Theory goes for a suplex but Lashley blocks it and Theory lands on his feet. Theory with a punch and Lashley with a back elbow and clothesline. Lashley with a choke slam and Theory goes to the floor. Theory gets his briefcase and he starts to walk to the back.

Lashley knocks the briefcase away when Theory tosses it to him. Lashley sends Theory into the ringside barrier a few times. They return to the ring and Theory rolls ot the apron and hits a slingshot rolling drop kick for a near fall. Lashley with a flatliner. Theory with a punch and Lashley punches back. Both men with punches and they go back and forth. Theory with a back elbow to Lashley and Lashley gets Theory up for a running power slam and hits it.

Lashley signals for a spear and Theory with a leap frog to avoid Lashley and Lashley hits the ring post with his shoulder. Theory sets for a slingshot rolling drop kick but Lashley catches Theory and puts him in the Hurt Lock and Theory taps out.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

No Disqualification Match
The Mysterios (Rey & Dominik Mysterio) vs. The Judgment Day (Damian Priest & Finn Balor)

The Judgment Day makes their entrance first. We are shown their heinous assault on Rey Mysterio from Raw this past week. The commentary team notes that the group tried to destroy Rey Mysterio’s big moment. The Mysterios arrives next. Jimmy Smith notes the family has never backed down from any challenge. Rey and Dominik immediately go after Finn Balor and Priest who are waiting for them inside the ring.

Finn and Priest with punches and shoulders. Rey kicks Finn and Priest and then Rey with a satellite head scissors. Dominik sends Priest to the floor and then he sends Balor to the floor. Dominik with a suicide dive onto Priest and Rey with an Asai Moonsault onto Balor. Dominik sends Finn back into the ring and Dominik with a springboard cross body for a near fall. Rey tags in and they hit a double side Russian leg sweep. Rey sends Dominik onto Finn with a victory bomb and Rey gets a near fall. Rey with a wrist lock and Dominik tags in and he kicks Finn.

Dominik with a wrist lock and he hits a springboard wrist lock take down. Dominik with a forearm to knock Priest down on the apron. Priest with a knee to Dominik followed by a clothesline from Balor. Balor knocks Rey off the apron. Balor kicks Dominik in the corner. Priest tags in and Balor with a back breaker and Priest with a leg drop for a near fall. Priest with a rear chin lock. Priest with a kick to the head and he knocks Rey off the apron. Balor holds Dominik and Priest with an elbow into the corner. Priest with South of Heaven and Balor with a slingshot stomp to Dominik. Dominik with a suplex and he hits a suplex. Balor with an elbow.

Balor with chops to Dominik. Balor sends Dominik into the turnbuckles. Dominik with a clothesline and both men are down. Dominik rolls to his corner to make the tag and he does it. Priest tags in as well and Rey with a springboard cross body and a kick. Priest with an Irish whip but he misses a splash. Rey with a shoulder from the apron and a seated splash and drop kick. Rey knocks Balor off the apron. Rey with a wheelbarrow into a bulldog. Rey kicks Balor when Balor brings a chair into the ring. Rey hits Priest a few times with the chair. Rey with a sliding splash using the chair onto Balor on the floor.

Rey with a slingshot move and Priest catches Rey but Rey escapes and Priest with a super kick for a near fall. Priest goes for a choke slam but Rey counters and sends Priest into the ropes. Balor tags in and takes care of Rey with a Slingblade. Balor with a drop kick in the corner. Dominik grabs Balor when Finn goes for Coup de Grace. Balor kicks Dominik away but Rey stops Finn. Rey with a Frankensteiner for a near fall.

Priest sets for a power bomb on Rey but Dominik pulls Rey to the mat and Rey with an assisted head scissors that sends Priest into the ropes. Balor is drop kicked into the ropes. Rhea trips Rey and Dominik and then Rhea drops Dominik face first onto the apron. Priest grabs Rey and hits South of Heaven. Balor asks for a chair…

The lights go out and a flaming set of stairs appears by the entrance and Edge is back and has a customized Brood music as his theme. Edge makes his way to the ring and Balor and Priest forget they are in a match.

Edge with a boot to Priest and then he gets into the ring and spears Balor. Edge spears Priest. Edge sends Balor into the ropes and Rey and Edge hit a double 619. Rey with a splash and he gets the three count.

Winners: The Mysterios

Edge stands tall with The Mysterios as Judgment Day looks in disgust.

Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin

Michael Cole is now on commentary with Corey Graves for McAfee’s match against Corbin. Happy Corbin gets his entrance first. Corbin is still making his entrance when he hears a choir singing “Bum Ass Corbin.” Pat McAfee is up next. The SmackDown commentator gets a huge ovation as he makes his way to the biggest party of the summer.

Corbin has some words for Pat and Pat does not care. He tells McAfee to go back to his seat. McAfee with a super kick and punches. Corbin with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. McAfee with a head scissors off the turnbuckles and he clotheslines Corbin over the top rope to the floor. Pat goes to the floor and Corbin runs Pat into the apron. Corbin is sent into the ring post. Pat with a kick and he sends Corbin into the ring.

McAfee kicks Corbin in the back. Pat puts Corbin on the turnbuckles and sets for a superplex but Corbin pushes Pat off the turnbuckles but Pat lands on his feet. Corbin with a drop kick to Pat. Corbin with punches to the midsection. Corbin with a splash into the corner. Corbin with a biel to Pat. Corbin asks Cole how his boy is doing and Corbin with punches. Corbin with more punches and he sends Pat to the floor. Corbin goes to the floor.

Corbin runs Pat into the ringside barrier. Corbin send Pat into the ringside barrier again. They return to the ring. Corbin gets a near fall. Pat with punches and elbows. Corbin with Deep Six for a near fall. Corbin argues with the referee. Corbin slides round the ring post and Pat with a kick and a pescado onto Corbin. Corbin biels Pat onto the announce table and he slams Pat’s head into the announce table. Corbin breaks the referee’s count. Corbin decides to do some commentary as he calls out Pat’s parents and Corbin punches Pat. Corbin pushes Cole down and then he punches Pat some more.

Corbin sends Pat back into the ring. Corbin goes up top and McAfee leaps to the turnbuckles and hits a superplex. Pat gets a near fall. Corbin with a forearm. Pat with a punch and they go back and forth. Pat takes over but Corbin runs Pat into the turnbuckles. Corbin goes shoulder first into the ring post when Pat moves. Corbin falls to the floor. Pat goes up top and he almost slips on the ropes but hits a swanton onto Corbin on the floor. Pat sends Corbin back into the ring and Pat goes up top. Pat leaps over Corbin and rolls through. Pat with a punch and Corbin bumps into the referee. Pat kicks Corbin in an uncomfortable place and then Pat goes to the turnbuckles for Code Red for the three count.

Winner: Pat McAfee

McAfee goes to the announcer’s desk and does the ‘suck it’ gesture to Corey Graves. He shakes hands with Michael Cole before drinking a beer with the crowd.

— We take a look back at the Number One Contender Match from Smackdown to determine who would face the Undisputed Champion at Clash at the Castle.

In the Stadium:

Drew McIntyre makes his way to the Okerlund Platform.

Drew says he loves this place. Drew mentions that members of the Titans are in the house tonight. Drew says it is the home of the new number one contender for the Undisputed Championship, Drew McIntyre. He asks if you saw what he did to Sheamus. They beat the hell out of each other. Drew says he could barely get out of bed today, but it was worth it. Drew says he has a shot at the championship. Drew mentions the first time ever… in Nashville with both titles on the line in a Last Man Standing match in front of Colt match. It will be a battle and he does not care who wins. In Cardiff, Drew is going to beat that ass and take those titles. Drew says he will raise his magic sword to see what happens and we get some fireworks.

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship Match (Special Guest Referee: Jeff Jarrett)
The Street Profits vs. The Usos (c)

Jeff Jarrett is introduced to the ring first. The Street Profits are next and are getting a special entrance for this year’s SummerSlam. A group of cheerleaders escort the challengers to the ring. The Usos are next.

Jimmy and Dawkins start things off and they lock up. Jimmy with punches in the corner and Jarrett pulls Jimmy out of the corner for not listening to him. Dawkins with a punch and he punches Jimmy in the corner. Jarrett pulls Dawkins out of the corner for the same reason. Dawkins goes for the legs but Jimmy blocks it. Jey tags in and Jimmy with a back breaker and Jey with a forearm from the turnbuckles for a near fall. Jey sends Dawkins into the corner and Jimmy tags in. Jimmy with a forearm to Dawkins. Jarrett tells the Usos to have one in and one out. Jimmy stomps on the hand and chokes Dawkins in the ropes.

Jey with a punch when Jarrett is distracted by Jimmy. Jimmy with a rear chin lock. Jimmy keeps Dawkins on the mat and keeps him from his partner. Dawkins gets back to his feet and Jimmy with a punch and Dawkins falls into the corner. Jimmy with punches in the corner. Jimmy sets for a running hip into the corner and hits it. Jimmy sets for a second one but he takes too much time and Dawkins moves and hits an enzuigiri in the corner. Both men are down. Ford and Jey with tags. Ford with a kick from the apron and a cross body for a near fall. Ford with a clothesline and a thrust kick and a front kick. Ford with an enzuigiri and a belly-to-back suplex.

Ford with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Ford with a chop and then Ford lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex atttempt. Jey with an uppercut but Ford with a blockbuster for a near fall. Ford with a chop. Jey with an Irish whip and Ford tries to float over but Jey doesn’t charge into the corner. Jey sends Ford into the turnbuckles and hits a pop up neck breaker for a near fall. Ford drops down and Jimmy and Jey go over the top rope to the floor. Dawkins tags in and he hits a flip dive onto the Usos. He sends Jimmy back into the ring and hits a swinging butterfly neck breaker for a near fall.

immy with an enzuigiri and Ford tags in. Jimmy misses a super kick and Dawkins with a shoulder tackle into a belly-to-back suplex by Ford for a near fall. Dawkins tags in and he gets Jimmy on his shoulders. Ford leaps over and Jey with a super kick to Ford. Jimmy with a super kick to Dawkins and Jey tags in. They hit a double super kick and Jimmy tags back in and he hits a frog splash for a near fall. Jey tags in and they both go up top for a double frog splash and hit it for a near fall when Ford breaks up the cover. Jimmy is sent to the floor by Ford and then Jey tries to send Ford to the floor but Ford skins the cat. Jarrett almost gets hit with a super kick by Jey. Dawkins with Lo Down and Ford tags in and hits a Seven Star Frog Splash but he cannot cover right away and gets a near fall.

Ford yells at the referee about his inability to count. Dawkins tags in and Jimmy pulls Jey to the floor. Jimmy and Jey with a double super kick when Ford goes for a suicide dive. Ford is sent over the ringside barrier. Jimmy and Jey with a double super kick to Dawkins. Dawkins is sent to the floor and they hit a double super kick followed by 1D for the three count.

Winners: The Usos

The Usos exit the ring as the Profits look in disbelief. Michael Cole says Roman Reigns will be extremely happy with the result.

— We see a video hyping up the return of Charlotte Flair.

In the Stadium:

Riddle is out of nowhere to steal a mic from the commentary table. He makes his way into the ring and says he is not medically cleared to wrestle tonight but Randy told him not to take crap from anyone, especially pieces of trash like Seth Rollins. Riddle tells Seth to come to the ring.

Seth Rollins makes his way to the ring. Officials try to keep Seth from going to the ring but they meet each other in the aisle and exchange punches. Riddle kicks Rollins as they get into the ring. Riddle with kicks and knees. Rollins with a forearm to Riddle and then Rollins sets for the Stomp and hits it. Officials check on Riddle and escort Rollins to the back.

— Time to see how Live Morgan became champion.

SmackDown Women’s Championship Match
Ronda Rousey vs. Liv Morgan (c)

Ronda Rousey makes her entrance first. Rousey walks to ring all fired up for her title shot against Morgan, who seems to be more over than her opponent at this point. Michael Cole mentions that Morgan is competing for the first time at SummerSlam. He also states that she is only one of three women who have pinned Ronda Rousey.

They lock up and Ronda with a judo throw. Ronda with punches and Liv pushes Ronda away. Ronda goes into the corner and Liv floats over. Ronda with a jumping knee and she goes for the ankle. Ronda with an exploder for a near fall. Liv with punches and kicks. Liv with an enzuigiri. Ronda with a thrust kick to the midsection and then Ronda rolls through for Piper’s Pit but Liv gets to her feet after an elbow. Liv with a Codebreaker and she tries for ObLIVion but Ronda blocks it and she takes Liv to the mat. Ronda goes for the arm bar and Liv escapes. Ronda goes for the arm bar. Liv with a rollup for a near fall.

Liv with Rings of Saturn. Ronda gets Liv up and Liv with a crucifix bomb for a near fall. Liv kicks Ronda and Ronda with a triangle while hanging from the apron. Ronda with a judo throw and she goes for the arm bar again and locks it in. Liv tries to get to the ropes and she gets her toe on the rope to force a break. Ronda with a punch to the arm followed by an arm wringer. Ronda returns to the arm bar and Liv rolls through and gets to the ropes again. The referee checks on Liv and asks for the medical staff to check on Liv.

Liv tells the referee that she is okay to go. Ronda with a head scissors take down and she applies an arm bar into a triangle. Liv taps but she gets the three count since Ronda’s shoulders are down.

Winner: Liv Morgan

After the match, Ronda tells the referee that Liv tapped out. The replay shows that Liv tapped out on the two count on the pinfall. Ronda kicks Liv in the back and applies a cross arm breaker on Liv. Ronda attacks the referee and puts him in a cross arm breaker.

— Kane is inside the ring and announces the attendance for tonight’s show. The Mayor of Knox County says the attendance is 48,449. Kane thanks the crowd before doing his signature pyro.

Last Man Standing Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns (c)

Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman and The Usos make their way to the ring first. They all raise their belts on the stage and The Usos come back to the backstage area.

Before the match, Roman Reigns tells Nashville and SummerSlam to acknowledge him. Then, Brock Lesnar’s music hits and he makes his way to the r… There is a big tractor in his way, so Lesnar drives it to the ring! Reigns is in disbelief as Lesnar is all smiles making his way to the ring.

Brock introduces himself form the top of the tractor, then with a Thesz Press off the front of the tractor followed by punches and the match is started. Brock with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex on the floor. Brock sends Roman into the ring steps. Brock with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex off the ring steps to the floor. Brock sends Roman over the ringside barrier into the crowd. Brock with a suplex onto the light rigging support. Roman rakes the eyes to escape an F5. Roman sends Brock into the light rigging. Brock runs Roman’s back into the structure.

Brock with a German suplex on the floor. Brock looks under the ring and he gets a table. Brock sets it up on the floor. Paul tries to sneak up on Brock and Brock sees him so Paul begs for mercy. Roman gets Brock up and hits a Samoan drop through the table. Both men beat the ten count to get back to their feet. Roman has the ring steps and hits Brock in the head with it and Brock falls onto the broken table. Roman sets up another table on the floor. Roman with a uranage through the table. The referee starts his count.

Brock gets back to his feet and they enter the ring. Roman sets for the Superman punch and hits Brock with it but Brock is on his knees. Roman with another Superman punch and he connects. Roman sets for a spear and hits it. The referee starts his count. Brock gets back to his feet and Roman sets for another spear but Brock goes for an F5 and Roman lanes on his feet. Brock sends Roman through the ropes to the floor. Roman gets to his feet and Brock tosses Roman through a piece of a broken table. Brock backs the tractor up and lowers the scoop.

Brock hits Roman with the ring steps. Brock hits Roman with a piece of the broken table. Roman gets to his feet to break the count. Brock puts Roman in the scoop of the tractor and lifts Roman and dumps him into the ring. The referee starts his count while Brock relaxes in the tractor. Roman gets back to his feet. Brock with a German suplex followed by a second one. Brock with another German suplex once Roman gets back to his feet. Roman gets back to his feet and Brock with an F5. Roman gets back to his feet at nine. Brock gets Roman up and Roman counters the F5 and applies a guillotine. Lesnar with a DDT into a guillotine of his own. The referee tells Brock to release the hold since Roman is out cold. The referee starts his count, and it’s a 9.

Roman falls into the ropes to beat the count. Brock goes back to the tractor and he backs it up. Brock uses the tractor to move the ring.. Brock lifts the side of the ring and Roman falls out of the ring. The referee starts his count. Roman gets to his feet. Brock adjusts the announce table. The Usos attack Brock but Brock with overhead belly-to-belly suplexes to Jimmy and Jey. Paul has some words for Brock and he gives Brock the title belts and he tells Brock to let his tribal chief alone. Brock gives Paul an F5 through the table. Roman with a spear to Brock and everyone but the referee is down.

Both men gets to their feet.

Theory’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring with a referee and his briefcase.

Theory hits Roman with the briefcase and then Brock hits Theory with an F5 before the cash in can happen. Jimmy and Jey with a double super kick to Brock. Roman gets to his feet and Brock gets to his knee at nine. Roman spears Brock on the title belts. The referee makes his count and Brock beats it. Roman picks up the briefcase and hits Theory and then Lesnar. Roman hits Brock many more times with the briefcase and the referee counts again. Lesnar gets to his feet again. Roman hits Brock with the title belt.

Roman uses the other title belt and hits Brock in the head with it. Roman and the Usos put the announce table and other things on top of Brock to keep him down. The referee gets to the ten count.

Winner: Roman Reigns

Reigns collapses after the win and the Usos help him get up. The Bloodline hug Paul Heyman as Brock Lesnar lays on the other side. The commentary team makes a case for Reigns against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle in the wake of his dominant win against Lesnar. Reigns lifts the titles as The Usos and Heyman stand behind him. Cole calls it the greatest Last Man Standing Match of all time as the show goes off the air.

Eight matches were being promoted for tonight’s show.
