7/22 WWE SmackDown saw the ratings increase. The show averaged 2.256 million viewers on FOX, up from 2.077 million a week ago, according to ShowBuzz Daily.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.62 rating, up from the 0.47 rating a week ago. This was the highest key demo since January 21st and the highest total viewership since June 24th. The same week last year did 2.13 million viewers with a 18-49 demo rating of 0.55.
The show had intrigue because Stephanie McMahon appeared after Vince McMahon announced his retirement hours before SmackDown went live and Brock Lesnar’s walkout. Lesnar did return for the final segment.

As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 428,000 viewers and a 0.17 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm ET time slot.
Last week the show did 435,000 viewers and a 0.14 rating. This was the highest key demo rating since April 22nd.
Rampage ranked #6 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night, up from last week with a #11 ranking. Here’s the breakdown of each demo for the show:
