Santana appears to have suffered some sort of knee/leg injury during the Blood and Guts match on AEW Dynamite.
The injury appeared to have happened when he was giving Daniel Garcia a Uranage. As you can see below, his left leg twisted in an awkward way. Santana was checked on by doctors and eventually taken out of the age and to the backstage area.
We hope that this is not a serious injury but given that he was not able to make it backstage under his own power is not a good sign. We wish him the best and we’ll pass along an update on his injury as soon as we hear more.
