NXT Title Match Set For Great American Bash, Matches Announced For Next Week

During tonight’s episode of NXT 2.0, it was announced that Bron Breakker will be defending his NXT Championship at NXT Great American Bash.

As seen below, after Breakker defeated Duke Hudson, he was confronted by Cameron Grimes. Grimes extended his hand for an NXT Championship Match at Great American Bash, which Breakker accepted.

NXT Great American Bash 2022 is set for Tuesday, July 5 at 8 p.m. ET on the USA Network.

Next week, NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes will defend his title against Tony D’Angelo.

During tonight’s show, Grimes and Trick Williams defeated D’Angelo’s ‘soldiers’ Stacks and Two Dimes. Tonight, D’Angelo had ‘officially’ promoted Stacks and Two Dimes from ‘associate’ to ‘soldier’. As noted, Troy “Two Dimes”  Donovan was released on June 11 due to a “policy issue.”

WWE has also announced Solo Sikoa vs. Grayson Waller. During tonight’s show, Sikoa challenged Waller to a match next week, which Waller eventually accepted.

Other matches announced for next week are Alba Fyre vs. Lash Legend and Von Wagner vs. Josh Briggs.

Below is the updated line-up for next week’s show:
