NJPW Star Off Forbidden Door – AEW announced on Twitter that Hiromu Takahashi will not be at Forbidden Door pay-per-view because he has a fever and cannot travel to the United States.
The match has been changed to a Trios match between the Dudes With Attitude (Sting, Darby Allin, and Shingo Takagi) against The Young Bucks and Phantasmo with Hikuleo in their corner.
This is the latest name to pull out of the show. The pay-per-view has been plagued by injuries and there have been changes made up and down the card in recent weeks.
Speaking of Forbidden Door, AEW has also announced that the victors in the trios match between Eddie Kingston, Wheeler Yuta, & Shota Umino vs. Chris Jericho, Minoru Suzuki, & Sammy Guevara will gain the one-man-advantage in the upcoming Blood & Guts match the following week on AEW Dynamite.
Since the double-cage match runs like a WarGames style bout, one team will be granted a 2-on-1 advantage when their team member enters at the first interval.
