We’re on the air! Excalibur, Taz, and Chris Jericho are on commentary.

Andrade El Idolo vs. Rey Fenix

Both men are already in the ring. The bell rings and we’re underway.

Andrade grabs an arm bar. Fenix spins out of it and grabs his own arm bar and grabs a headlock. Fenix comes off the ropes but Andrade avoids and it ends in a stalemate. Another exchange leads to a hurricanrana but Andrade responds with his own.

Fenix charges into a boot by Andrade. Andrade sends Fenix into the ropes but Fenix hits his rewind spinning kick. Fenix tries for a suplex but Andrade overpowers him and goes into the Three Amigos. Fenix escapes the third suplex and goes into his own Three Amigos and completes the trifecta.

Fenix climbs to the top turnbuckle. Andrade rolls to the floor. Fenix hops to the top rope and hits a somersault splash onto Andrade on the floor. He puts Andrade back into the ring but Andrade avoids another dive. Fenix outmaneuvers him for a German suplex with a bridge for a 2-count.

Fenix runs up the corner but Andrade pushes him off. Fenix crashes all the way to the floor and we go to a picture-in-picture break.

Back from the break, Andrade has Fenix grounded with a bodyslam. Andrade climbs to the top turnbuckle. Fenix cuts him off with a chop. Fenix goes up to meet him. Andrade hangs Fenix upside-down and hits a double stomp from the top for a 2-count.

Andrade sets up Fenix in the corner. Andrade charges but Fenix hits a kick and then hits a double stomp of his own. Fenix tries a cutter but Andrade escapes. Fenix springs to the top rope and hits a missile dropkick. Fenix hits his rolling pop-up cutter. That gets a 2-count.

Fenix climbs to the top turnbuckle. Andrade gets his knees up to counter the frog splash and hooks Fenix for a 2-count.

Fenix and Andrade trade strikes in the center of the ring. Andrade ends the exchange with a big overhand chop. Fenix pushes Andrade into the ropes but Fenix misses his tightrope walk kick and crotches himself on the top rope. Andrade sets up Fenix against the ring post on the apron but Fenix avoids the running knees and Andrade crashes into the post and crumples to the floor.

Fenix goes to the top turnbuckle and hits a double stomp to Andrade’s back while he’s standing on the floor. We go to another picture-in-picture break.

Back from the break, both men are on the top rope. Fenix hits an inverted Spanish Fly from the top rope with both men landing on their faces. Jose The Assistant helps Andrade get his foot on the bottom rope to break the pin attempt.

Jose passes the tablet to Andrade. Referee Aubrey Edwards catches him and takes it away. Andrade goes to the eyes of Fenix and dropkicks Fenix in the knee. Fenix kicks him away to break a Figure Four attempt. Fenix flies into the corner with a spinning kick and Andrade spills to the floor.

Fenix hits a big tope con hiro onto Andrade on the floor. In the ring, Jose and Alex Abrahantes get into it. Outside the ring, Rush appears and kicks Fenix between the legs. He rolls Fenix back into the ring. Andrade hits his El Idolo DDT and gets the pin.

Andrade and Rush pose in La Faccion Ingobernable t-shirts in the ring after the match. Rush rips off Fenix’s mask. Penta Oscuro runs down with his shovel and the LFI crew retreat.

Backstage, Eddie Kingston hypes up Forbidden Door. Kingston says the bigger deal is Blood & Guts. Kingston says he won’t be satisfied until he tastes Chris Jericho’s blood. He says he wants to know what a coward’s blood tastes like.

Back to the commentary table, Jericho is appalled at Kingston’s comments. He says Kingston belongs in a cage.

We go to a commercial break.

Back from the break, we’re backstage with Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland. Strickland knows they haven’t been on the same page but they’ve been stacking wins and they have a match against Yoshinobu Kanemaru and El Desperado on the Forbidden Door Buy In.

Back in the arena, Serena Deeb makes her entrance. She’s followed by Ring of Honor Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez making her own entrance.

Mercedes Martinez & Serena Deeb vs. Laynie Luck & Sierra

Deeb starts off against Sierra. Deeb quickly ties her up and floors her with a chop. Luck tags in. Deeb controls her with an arm bar and tags in Martinez. Luck tries a rollup but Martinez kicks out and retaliates with a spinebuster.

Deeb blind tags into the match and ties up Luck’s legs while she slaps her in the face. Sierra charges in but Martinez cuts her off and choke slams her onto Luck. Deeb bridges while Luck is in the leglock but Luck fights to the bottom rope to break the hold. Martinez tags in.

Martinez charges into the corner with a forearm. Deeb tags in and she and Martinez hits a series of charges into the corner on Luck. They lift Luck and hang her over the top rope. There’s a little miscommunication between Deeb and Martinez. Sierra comes into the ring. Deeb cuts her off. They both lock on their submission holds and get the win.

A little pushing and shoving after the match between Deeb and Martinez but they cut away from it.

We go to prerecorded comments from Tully Blanchard showing off his new stable of Brian Cage, Kaun, and Toa Liona.

We go to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Lexie Nair is with Ring of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham and Lee Morairty. Moriarty is ready for a title match, presumably against Gresham. Tully Blanchard barges in. Gresham challenges his crew to a match against him and Moriarty. Blanchard says he’s on.

Back in the arena, HOOK makes his entrance.

The DKC vs. HOOK

The DKC is a student at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s LA Dojo.

HOOK goes low to start and tries to put DKC in a knee bar. DKC gets to the ropes to break the hold. DKC fire sup with a forearm. HOOK throws him into the corner and fires away with punches and knees. He brings him out with a judo throw.

HOOK misses a charge and DKC gets to fire away in the corner. HOOK finally ducks a chop and delivers a big overhead suplex. HOOK cross faces DKC and locks on Red Rum to get the submission win.

We head backstage, where Mark Henry chats with the participants in tonight’s main event. Cash Wheeler admits singles wrestling isn’t his forte and Jeff Cobb is a tough opponent but he’ll never back down from a fight. He says Sunday night is FTR’s chance to make history and no one will stand in the way of that.

Cobb demands that Wheeler put more respect on his name. He says he respects FTR but they run their mouths about wanting more gold and only one tag team will walk out with the gold on Sunday at Forbidden Door.

Excalibur runs down the card for Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view, including a backstage segment with Billy Gunn setting up Gunn Club and Max Caster for a match against a team of students from NJPW’s LA Dojo.

They announce a new match for the Forbidden Door Buy In: Aaron Solo & QT Marshall vs. Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI.

Also, the winner of the trios match between the teams led by Jericho and Kingston will get the man advantage for the Blood & Guts match on Wednesday’s “Dynamite”.

Back in the arena, Jeff Cobb makes his entrance. Cash Wheeler makes his entrance. Both men are entering alone.

Caprice Coleman has joined the commentary team for the main event.

Jeff Cobb vs. Cash Wheeler

Wheeler and Cobb lock up to start. Cobb overpowers him. Wheeler grabs a headlock. Cobb powers out of that too.

Wheeler tries a headlock again. Cobb pushes him off. Wheeler tries a shoulder block but Cobb doesn’t budge. Wheeler hits a low dropkick and grabs another headlock.

Chris Jericho names Jeff Cobb his Sports Entertainer of the Week.

Cobb reverses into his own headlock. Wheeler tries a drop toe hold but Cobb doesn’t move and Cobb takes down Wheeler with a front headlock. Wheeler fights to his feet and tries the headlock again. Cobb powers out but Wheeler lands on his feet and hits a dropkick. Cobb answers by hanging Wheeler over the top rope and hitting a swinging back suplex. Wheeler rolls out to the floor as we go to a picture-in-picture break.

Back from the break, Cobb has Wheeler in a backbreaker. Wheeler slips out and grabs a sleeper hold. Cobb backs into the corner to break the hold. He misses a charge and Wheeler lands some punches. Cobb responds with a pinch that sends Wheeler down to the mat. Wheeler gets up and goes for a backslide. Cobb is too strong but misses some wild swings. Wheeler connects with more strikes and hits another chop block. A running European uppercut sends Cobb to the floor. Wheeler slingshots over the top rope and dives onto Cobb on the floor.

Wheeler sends Cobb into the ring and tries to climb to the top turnbuckle but Cobb cuts him off and tries to deadlift Wheeler up and over the top rope. Wheeler reverses and brings Cobb off the second turnbuckle with a sunset flip powerbomb. That gets a 2-count.

Wheeler tries a tornado DDT but Cobb powers out of it. Cobb tries for the Tour of the Islands. Wheeler reveres into a rollup for a 2-count. Cobb tries for a gutwrench powerbomb and Wheeler reverses again into a rollup for another near fall.

Cobb comes back and finally hits the Tour of the Islands and gets the pin.

Great-O-Khan comes out after the match, followed by Dax Harwood, who attacks Great-O-Khan. Will Ospreay and Aussie Open run down the ringside. Orange Cassidy and Roppongi Vice also enter the fray.

In the midst of the brawl, Eddie Kingston runs out to attack Jericho. The rest of the commentary team says Kingston is armed with a pen and is trying to stab Jericho.

Jericho manages to escape into the crowd but Kingston gives chase and they brawl through the fans while everyone else continues to fight at ringside.

The brawl ends with Dax Harwood planting Kyle Fletcher with a piledriver in the middle of the ring. Jericho tries to return to the commentary desk but Kingston runs him off again.
