Stephanie McMahon Not Expected Back Anytime Soon – WWE is moving forward without Stephanie McMahon after she decided to take a step back from the company to focus on her family. McMahon indicated that she plans on returning but no timetable was given. Triple H is back working full-time at WWE Headquarters.
WWE President Nick Khan is taking over her duties for now and WWE is already looking to hire someone to handle some of her duties long-term.
Mike Johnson of Pwinsider took fan questions and noted that no one he’s spoken with believes McMahon will be returning anytime soon.
Johnson also noted that “there were lots of high-up executives who had no inkling this was coming until it very quickly spread across the company after she tweeted.” It was added there was no company statement internally before the announcement was made.
As previously reported by Wade Keller of the PWTorch, there are ‘reasons’ why Stephanie stepped away from WWE, but it’s a ‘private and personal’ matter that will likely never get out.
