Nick Khan To Take Over Most Of Stephanie McMahon’s WWE Duties – Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics reports that Nick Khan will be taking over most of Stephanie McMahon’s duties at WWE.
Thurston writes, “Nick Khan will be taking over most of Stephanie McMahon’s duties in her absence, according to multiple people. Select business partners have already been informed.”
As noted, Stephanie McMahon announced earlier today that she would be stepping away from “most” of her responsibilities at WWE so she can focus on her family. McMahon did not give a timetable on when she expects to return to her full-time duties.
PWInsider reported today that McMahon’s announcement shocked people in the company. In fact, most people in the company found out by reading it on Twitter like everyone else. It was stated that only the closest people to her were aware that she was going to be stepping away.
The word going around is that people in the company have been seeking to find out what caused her to make the decision. It’s well known that Stephanie, much like her father, lives and breathes WWE and she rarely takes extended breaks.
