WWE SmackDown Results (5/13) Wilkes-Barre, PA – We are live from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Wilkes-Barre, PA, as RK-Bro makes its way to the ring.
Randy welcomes everyone to Smackdown. He says they are very very very very excited to be here tonight. They are also sick and tired of the chase. It is obvious that the Usos don’t have the balls to make any decisions for themselves. It is obvious to them that Roman is the only person who makes any decisions in the Bloodline. Riddle says he has to give Roman props. He thought they had things under control but Roman hit him with a spear and they lost. Riddle says he is good at seeing patterns. Every time the Usos can’t handle business, Roman comes in and handles it for them.
Randy says they are sick and tired of it. Since the short and swett of it is that they demand to become the Undisputed Tag Team Champions, so whatever you want to call yourself Roman, bring your happy ass to the ring.
Sami Zayn’s music plays and he is wearing a Bloodline shirt. Sami asks if they understand how things work on Smackdown. Do you think you can snap your fingers and get Roman Reigns to come out whenever you summon him. As locker room leader, I will address this on Roman’s behalf. Sami says he speaks for the Bloodline, the locker room, and WWE Universe that no one wants to see this unification match. More importantly, you don’t want this title unification match because if it happens, you will lose.
Sami enters the ring and he says he is trying to handle this like a leader and with dipomacy. Everyone loves RK-Bro and what he suggests is that they take their titles and go back to Raw and don’t come back.
Randy says he told Roman he wanted him to come out and he asks if Sami is Roman’s errand boy. Riddle tells Sami he will call him ‘Rusty’ because his hair looks like rust.
Sami corrects the crowd after chanting ‘Rusty’. Sami says this is not a threat, but they should think about they talk about Roman and the Bloodline. The last person to talk the wrong way to Roman was Shiinsuke Nakamura.
Randy asks Sami if he is making calls for Roman and he says that is very cool. You aren’t out here running your mouth, you are a vital part of Smackdown. Randy says he has a suggestion. If you are out here and you are a shot caller, you should do this. Make the match tonight, Sami Zayn versus Riddle and if Riddle wins, they get the Unification Match. They ask Rusty to do it.
Sami thinks about it and he tells everyone to calm down. Sami says that will work. Sami rolls out of the ring and he says this is complication. It won’t happen tonight, maybe a week or two. He says he has to talk to Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns.
Adam Pearce comes out and he says while he cannot agree with Sami competitng on behalf of the Bloodline, people do want to see a match between you and Riddle so the match is official and starts right now! After a commercial, of course.
Sami Zayn vs. Riddle
Zayn backs into the ropes to avoid Riddle. Zayn with a side head lock and a shoulder tackle. Riddle with a triangle but Zayn gets to the ropes and goes to the floor. Zayn almost bumps into Orton and Riddle with a baseball slide to send Zayn into the ringside barrier. Zayn tries to get out of the ring again but Riddle stops him. Zayn with an elbow and punches. Zayn chokes Riddle in the ropes. Zayn with cross faces to RIddle. Zayn with a reverse chin lock. Riddle with chops and a kick to the chest. Riddle with a Pele kick and both men are down. Riddle with running forearms and a suplex. Riddle misses a moonsault and then he goes for a back senton but Zayn gets his knees up.
Riiddle gets his knees up to stop a Helluva Kick. Riddle goes to the turnbuckles and Zayn knocks Riddle off the turnbuckles to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Zayn punches Riddle and then goes to the turnbuckles. Riddle leaps to the turnbuckles and Zayn punches Riddle to avoid an RKO off the turnbuckles. Zayn knocks Riddle to the mat with a head butt. Riddle with a jumping knee to Zayn as he comes off the turnbuckles and Riddle gets a near fall. Riddle gets Zayn on his shoulders but Zayn escapes. Zayn goes for a Blue Thunder Bomb but Riddle escapes. Zayn with a Michinoku Driver for a near fall. Zayn sends Riddle to the apron and sets for the IEDDT but Riddle gets to his feet and he sends Zayn over the top rope with a back drop. Riddle with a running kick to the head followed by a twisting Asai moonsault.
Riddle with a power slam and Zayn goes to the apron. Riddle with an IEDDT and then he looks around to set up the twist to the mat and the punches to signal the RKO. Zayn rolls to the floor and Riddle follows. Zayn sends Riddle into the ring post and into the timekeeper’s area. Zayn gets back into the ring and the referee continues her count. Riddle gets back in at nine when he powers up. Riddle with Bro Derek for the three count.
Winner: Riddle
We see Roman Reigns sitting on the Tribal couch with Paul Heyman behind him and the Usos are in the other couch. Roman asks why are they on his show since they already smashed them. Jimmy says they are disrespecting the Tribal Chief and the Usos. They have been chamipon for almost 300 days for a reason. Tonight, the whole world will acknowledge the Tribal Chief.

— We are back and Sami Zayn walks in the back. He sees Shinsuke Nakamura smiling. Nakamura tells Sami that Roman is the head of the table, but you are the table’s ass.
In the Arena:
Ronda Rousey makes her way to the ring and we see how she became the new SmackDown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania Backlash.
Rousey takes the mic now and says Flair being a 13-time champion is impressive, but she’s got the title now. Rousey raises the title for a pop. She gives it up for Flair as being one of the toughest competitors she’s ever fought. She says she had to break Flair’s arm to get her to quit, and Rousey herself would rather die than say those words, but that’s just her. Rousey says she wants to be a fighting champion, so she’s issuing an Open Challenge right now. Rousey looks to the back and asks who wants to make history tonight. The music hits and out comes Raquel Rodriguez.
Raquel Rodriguez marches to the ring as SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey looks a bit worried, or just all business. They face off in the middle of the ring and Raquel introduces herself, speaking in Spanish first. She then accepts in Spanish and English. Raquel says she may be new to SmackDown but what better way to be known than as champion, and it would be an honor to be in the ring with a legend like Rousey, but tonight she will be the one to make history. Raquel’s music starts back up as she and Rousey face off in the middle of the ring . We go to commercial.
SmackDown Women’s Title Match – Raquel Rodriguez vs. Ronda Rousey
They lock up and Raquel with a waist lock take down. Ronda with a waist lock but Raquel picks up Ronda by the head and tosses her into the turnbuckles. Ronda with punches but Raquel with a knee and clothesline. Raquel runs Ronda into the turnbuckles and connects with forearms. Raquel with fallaway slam. Raquel with another fallaway slam for a near fall. Raquel gets Ronda on her shoulder for a back breaker. Ronda gets to her feet and she punches Raquel. Raquel with a kick and Irish whip but she misses a shoulder into the corner. Ronda goes for an arm bar but Raquel with a side slam. Raquel misses an elbow drop from the turnbuckles. Ronda avoids a knee and Ronda with a kick. Ronda with a back elbow and she goes to the turnbuckles.
Ronda with a guillotine, but Raquel counters into a suplex for a near fall. Raquel with a double wrist lock. Ronda with knees and Raquel goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Ronda with a knee. Ronda with punches and forearms. Raquel pushes Ronda away. Ronda with a jumping knee and a kick. Ronda gets Raquel up but Raquel gets back ot her feet. Raquel with a modified Samoan drop for a near fall. Raquel sets for the Chingona Bomb but Ronda counters with an arm bar and Raquel drops Ronda on the top rope. Ronda with a single leg take down and she applies the ankle lock but Raquel kicks her away. Raquel with a kick to the head for a near fall.
Raquel goes for a power bomb but Ronda counters with an inside cradle for the three count.
Winner: Ronda Rousey
After the match, Ronda offers her hand and Raquel shakes it.
— Shotzi is in the back with Adam Pearce and she tells Pearce it should have been him. Aliyah asks Shotzi if she is going to tell Adam about how she was locked in the locker room. They argue about getting a title match.
— We see the Andre the Giant Trophy being placed at ringside.
We go to commercial.
In the Arena:
Kayla Braxton is in the ring and she brings out Madcap Moss. Kayla mentions the roll that Moss has been on since Wrestlemania. She mentions his victory over Happy Corbin at Backlash and we see highlights. Moss says this is by far the biggest victory of his career. He says Corbin is powerful, physically imposing, and he can really wear you down with his terrible personality. If he stood six feet away from him in the ring and told him another story about how much his watch was, he would have tapped out from boredom. Moss says he perservered and he stifled the odds. He looked beyond the horrible tattoos and avoided the glare from his bald head.
Kayla asks him what is next. Moss says his WWE career is just starting. He wants to be in a mixed tag team with Sasha Banks. He wants to get the Money in the Bank briefcase…
Happy Corbin attacks Moss from behind with a steel chair. Corbin grabs the trophy and brings it into the ring. Corbin hits Moss more times with the chair. Corbin puts the chair around Moss’ neck and then he drops the trophy onto the chair.
Adam Pearce and officials come to the ring to make sure Corbin does nothing more. Pearce signals for a stretcher as Corbin laughs at what he did. We go to commercial while they put a neck brace on Moss.
— We are back with a Moments Ago Moment of what Corbin did to Moss. We see Moss being stretchered in the back and Corbin stops him and laughs at Moss before they put him in the stretcher.
Natalya and Shayna Baszler vs. Sasha Banks and Naomi for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Naomi and Shayna start things off and Naomi with a side head lock and back elbow to the iinjured arm. Naomi with a back elbow and she slides under Shayna and punches Shayna. Sasha tags in and they hit a double Sole Food for a near fall. Natalya tags in and she kicks Sasha. Natalya sends Sasha into the turnbuckles. Sasha with an Irish whip and Natalya sends Sasha to the apron and Sasha with a head scissors take down and a running double knee strike for a near fall. Sasha with a sunset flip for a near fall. Sasha with Banks Statement but Natalya gets to the ropes. Natalya with a sliingshot atomic drop and Shayna makes the blind tag and breaks up the cover.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Natalya keeps Sasha from making the tag and hits a spinebuster. Natalya knocks Naomi off the apron and tags in Shayna. They hit a Hart Attack and Shayna gets a near fall. Natalya is sent to the floor by Naomi. Shayna pulls Naomi off the apron and she misses stomping on Naomi’s arm. Sasha drop kicks Shayna off the apron and Naomi tags in and hits a cross body off the apron. Naomi with a drop kick and she knocks Natalya off hte apron. Naomi with a jaw breaker and Shayna with a kick to Naomi and she uses the ropes but the referee sees it and stops the count.
Natalya tags in and Naomi kicks Shayna. Natalya gets a nea rfall. Naomi with a springboard round kick and both women are down. Sasha tags in and she tags Naomi back in. Natalya with a discus clothesline to Sasha but Noami wth a Bubba Bomb and Shayna beaks up the cover. Sasha with a lungblower to Shayna. Naomi counters a sharpshooter into an inside cradle for the three count.
Winners: Sasha Banks and Naomi
Backstage:
Drew Gulak is in the back with Ricochet and Drew says these last few weeks have been a nightmare. He asks Ricochet for advise. Ricochet says if he gave up when things got tough, he wouldn’t have the title. He could have called it quits and he took control of his destiny. The only person who can help you is yourself. Drew says this version of him won’t let Gunther chop him down to size. He will take care of Gunther.
Drew walks in the back and he goes face to face with Gunther and Ludwig. Ludwig asks Drew what did he want to do to the Ring General? Gunther puts Drew agains the dressing room door and hits Drew with a huge chop.
— Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.
Kofi Kingston vs. Butch
Kofi with a drop kick and he punches Butch in the corner. Butch with punches. Kofi with an Irish whip and splash. Butch with a clothesline and then he connects with forearms to Kofi. Butch with a wrist lock and he works on the fingers. Butch stomps on the hand. Kofi with punches and Butch with a forearm. Kofi sends Butch over the top rope to the floor. Kofi with a baseball slide but misses when Butch goes back into the ring. Butch grabs Kofi by the hair and Kofi with a kick and double sledge off the turnbuckles. Kofi teases a dive to the floor but bounces off the ropes. Kofi with a kick to Butch from the apron
Kofi gets on Woods’ shoulders and we go to commercial.
We are back and Butch with a cravate and a knee. Kofi with punches. The referee warns Kofi and Kofi with forearms and a drop kick. Kofi with SOS for a near fall. Butch grabs the ears and chops Kofi. Butch misses a splash and it met with a kick. Butch with a jumping forearm as Kofi goes for a springboard move. Butch gets a near fall. Sheamus and Holland cheer for Butch and Butch misses running boot and Kofiw tih a kick. Butch with an enzuigiri. Kofi with a double stomp and he goes to the corner to set for Trouble in Paradise but Holland gets on the apron. Sheamus with a running knee to Woods on the floor and Kofi knocks Sheamus off the apron.
Butch with Bitter End for the three count.
Winner: Butch
After the match, Butch goes into the crowd but he returns to Ridge and Sheamus to celebrate ringside.
Backstage:
Sami Zayn is talking to Paul Heyman in the back. He says he does not want to bother Roman and he wants to make sure that everything is okay. He wants to make sure that he did not overstep his bounds. Randy and Riddle came from Raw to disrespect everyone. Sami says he wants to make sure that his relationship with Roman is good.. Sami says he wants to make sure that Roman is not mad with him. Paul tells Sami that his Tribal Chief appreciates him. Paul goes into the locker room and we go to commercial.
In the Arena:
We are back and Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Paul Heyman make their way to the ring.
Roman takes the mic from Paul and he tells the people of the state to acknowledge him. Roman says we smash them on Sunday and we come out on Friday to say who is next. Smash John Cena and tell you what’s next. Smash Brock Lesnar and tell you what’s next. This time it’s different. We smashed RK-Bro and Drew and there is nobody left. No one wants to step up to the mountain. The Tribal Chief is untouchable. This is where it gets interesting. The Usos, his cousins, they might have somebody next. There is a challenge. What are they going to do about it?
Randy Orton and Riddle’s music plays and they come out to the ring.
Randy says he sees Roman smiling. John Cena is ten times the superstar you will ever be. Riddle says he likes to turn on the laptop and turn the lights off to make the mood. He goes into his nightstnd . . . Randy tells Riddle to watch it. Riddle says he puts on the headphones and watches old matches. Riddle says he watched their match from Backlash. We need to make that unification match happen.
Randy says between Jimmy and Jey, they have one brain so he will say this real slow so they will understand. Randy says they want a tag title match. This way they can have both sets of titles. They will combine those titles to have one title left so they can be the Undisputed titles. He asks them if they understand the words coming out of his mouth.
Jimmy asks if they want an answer. They accept. Jey sys they accept, but not tonight. Next week, it is on. Jimmy says there will be two titles here, right here, and right here.
Riddle with a jumping knee to Roman and Orton and Riddle leave the ring laughing.
