Hikaru Shida Shows Off Her New Look – AEW star Hikaru Shida has shown off a new look as she shared photos on Twitter of herself sporting a new hairstyle that is different from her previous short cut.
She has changed up her look a few different times including last June when she cut her long hair after losing the AEW Women’s Title to Britt Baker at Double or Nothing 2021.
She was previously seen in action on last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite where she lost to Serena Deeb in a brutal street fight. This marked Shida’s first singles loss in AEW since January. Shida is currently in Japan to work shows for Tokyo Joshi Pro and Ice Ribbon.
Shida won the AEW Women’s Title from Nyla Rose in a No DQ match at the 2020 Double or Nothing pay-per-view event. Shida held the title for 373 days and is the second longest-reigning AEW Women’s Champion in the short history of the promotion thus far.
