Flight Booked For MJF To Fly Out Of Las Vegas – There is a lot more going on between MJF and AEW than initially reported and it could affect tomorrow’s Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, where MJF is scheduled to face Wardlow.
Fightful is reporting that sources in the company are “very unhappy about how it all played out” in regards to the situation with MJF and that communications between both sides have reached an all-time low. PWInsider reported earlier today that MJF has isolated himself from the locker room.
As noted earlier, security at AEW Double Or Nothing Fan Fest stated that MJF decided to simply not show up for his scheduled meet and greet and fans were offered refunds or they could choose a meet and greet with another AEW wrestler.
Fightful added that a cross country flight for MJF leaving Las Vegas tonight has been booked for MJF but it remains to be seen if he gets on the plane. Obviously, if he decides to fly out then he would not be on the pay-per-view tomorrow night and would basically put a nail in the plans for his match with Wardlow.
MJF has been very open about his unhappiness with ex-WWE stars making more money than him but AEW has been willing to sit down and negotiate a new deal. So far, MJF has not been willing to sit down with officials and he has stated in interviews that when his contract is up in January 2024, he plans on signing with the top bidder.
