Early News On 2022 WWE Draft – WWE is keeping this year’s Draft in the fall as the company is already looking ahead to it.
Last year, the Draft was held over the course of two dates just like in previous years. Originally, the first night was supposed to take place on August 30th for Monday Night Raw and September 3rd for Friday Night SmackDown. However, WWE later moved the dates back to October.
Ringside News reports that WWE is planning the 2022 Draft for September. No exact dates were given.
WWE will confirm the exact dates when it gets closer and it’s possible the dates get delayed. There’s no word yet on whether NXT will be part of the main roster Draft as last year, WWE strictly used Raw and SmackDown talent.
On the first night of last year’s Draft, SmackDown’s first pick was Roman Reigns while Raw’s selection was Big E. On the second night, Becky Lynch was Raw’s first section while SmackDown picked The Usos.
