Friday’s WWE Smackdown episode averaged 2.142 million viewers on FOX, which is down from 2.230 million a week ago, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.48 rating, down from the 0.60 rating a week ago. This was the lowest key demo the show has done for a normal episode since July 9, 2021, which marks a new 2022 low. It was also the lowest total viewership since February 25th.
Here is a list of total viewership and the key demo rating that SmackDown has done over the last 4 episodes:
3/25/22: 2,180,000 viewers – 0.49 key demo rating
4/1/22: 2,359,000 viewers – 0.61 key demo rating – WrestleMania go-home show
4/8/22: 2,230,000 viewers – 0.60 key demo rating – post-WrestleMania edition
4/15/22: 2,142,000 viewers – 0.48 key demo rating
As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 482,000 viewers and a 0.22 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT. Last week the show did 600,000 viewers and a 0.25 rating in the 10 pm ET timeslot.
The show had a special 7 pm ET start time and featured Adam Cole challenging “Hangman” Page for the AEW World Heavyweight Title. The last time Rampage was in a different timeslot was on March 18th late a night where they drew 398,000 viewers and a 0.13 key demo rating.

4/1/22: 456,000 viewers – 0.15 key demo rating
4/8/22: 600,000 viewers – 0.25 key demo rating
