On tonight’s WWE RAW, Veer Mahaan was scheduled to face Rey Mysterio, but he wound up facing the legend’s son, Dominik instead. The young star put up a fight, but Veer quickly overpowered him. Mahaan slammed Dominik into the barricade and drilled him with two lariats. He then made his opponent tap out to a wrenching clutch.
After the match, Veer kept the hold locked in, and he maintained the pressure, even as officials tried to stop him. Eventually, Veer walked away, and Dominik was taken out on a stretcher.
After a commercial, Dominik was loaded into an ambulance. Meanwhile, in an interview, Veer said he strikes fear into the hearts of men.
This looks to be the start of a monster heel push for Mahaan and it also looks like they have written Dominik off TV because stretcher angles are commonly done when they want to write someone off for a while, whether its to cover for a real injury or simply because they want to freshen them up for their eventual return.
