Ronda Rousey failed to capture the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38 Night One, losing to Charlotte Flair.
Rousey forced Flair to tap out, but the referee did not see it. Once the referee was revived, Charlotte kicked Rousey in the face and pinned her to retain her championship.
While speaking during a recent gaming stream on Facebook, Ronda Rousey made it clear she is angry with Charlotte Flair for cheating during their WrestleMania 38 match.
“I’m all sore. I got screwed. I tapped out Charlotte and the ref didn’t see it. I was trying to wake up the ref, Charlotte tried to ambush me from behind. What a world. Charlotte cheated. I should have been ready for a cheater. There should be no amount of cheating that can beat me, that’s how good I have to be.”
Rousey has not been announced for Friday’s WWE SmackDown.
Following WrestleMania, she did take to social media to explain why she missed the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Friday and said she was happy to work under Steve Austin at WrestleMania Saturday. You can find her comment by clicking here.
