WWE RAW Results (4/25) Knoxville, TN – We are live from the Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville, TN, where Riddle is in the ring with wrestlers surrounding the ring. Riddle welcomes everyone to Raw and says it is the 20th Anniversary for Randy Orton.

We have a video package starting with Orton’s debut on Smackdown.

Riddle brings out Randy Orton and he is dressed for the occasion. Orton says he appreciates Riddle and says this is cool.  Orton says he was born in Knoxville.  He says it is true.  He says it is pretty cool they are doing this here.  He says this has been a hell of a journey.  A lot of ups and downs and twists and turns.  Orton says he ain’t going nowhere.  Twenty years flew by in a flash.  He says he has made a lot of relationships through the years.  He mentions John Cena, Triple H, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, and Mick Foley. Orton says it was because of Mick Foley he is the Legend Killer.  Mick is the reason why he is here.  Along with Ric Flair and Triple H. Orton says he is having more fun now than he did in his entire career.  Randy says it is because of Riddle and he hugs Riddle.

Orton mentions the fans and says they have had their ups and downs and twists and turns but you have come back to support him.  There wouls be no Legend Killer, Apex Predator, or Viper without you. 

Riddle tells Randy he has a surprise for him.  Riddle says a mentor wanted to come out.  A second generation superstar and someone who was his friend. Riddle brings out Cody Rhodes.

Seth Rollins shows up at the announce table and he says isn’t this cute.  He tells Cody not to trust Randy.  He is not out here to show you love.  He is out here to steal your spotlight, just like he stole his spotlight at Wrestlemania.  Seth says he wants to let Cody in on a little secret.  Not everything is about you.  Seth says this is about Randy and he got in his best suit to celebrate 20 years.  Twenty years in the past.  You are not the present or the future of WWE.  He tells Cody he is not the present or future either.  

The next generation will not be inspired by a Nightmare or a Viper.  They will be inspired by Seth Rollins.

Ezekiel enters the ring and he says as one of the newer superstars around here, it would be the right time to say congratulations and introduce himself.  Ezekiel mentions he is Elias’ younger brother.  He says he remembers watching Randy dominate with his brother.

Kevin Owens comes out and tells Randy he cannot let him lie to Randy.  If he walks like Elias and talks like Elias, he is Elias.  Kevin calls Ezekiel a lying piece of trash.  He says he will figure out how Ezekiel beat the lie detector test.

The Usos come out.

Jimmy says it has been two decades the Viper has been doing it.  Jey says they were watching Randy when they were 15.  Jimmy asks Jey if he has a favorite Randy Orton moment.  Jey says it will be when they beat Randy and Riddle at Backlash and unify the tag titles and prove that they are the greatest tag team.

Adam Pearce sees eight men in the ring and he says there will be match and it will be an eight man tag with Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and the Usos against Cody Rhodes, Ezekiel, and RK-Bro. All eight men talk and Owens punches Ezekiel and Orton gives Owens an RKO.

— We see Kane in the back talking to Bianca Belair as we go to commercial.

Sonya Deville vs. Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship

They lock up and Sonya with a side head lock.  Bianca with a shoulder tackle and Sonya goes to the floor.  Sonya pulls Bianca to the floor but Bianca sends Sonya over the announce table.  The referee counts out Sonya.

Winner by Count Out:  Bianca Belair

After the match, Sonya says she did not lose and the match is going to restart as a No Count Out Match.

Sonya Deville vs. Bianca Belair in a No Count Out Match for the Raw Women’s Championship

They fight on the floor and Sonya sends Bianca into the ringside barrier.  Sonya escapes a slam and grabs Bianca by her braid.  Sonya is sent over the ringside barrier.  Sonya grabs a chair and hits Bianca with it and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner by DQ:  Bianca Belair

Deville says we are re-starting the match with no disqualifications, and no count outs. Deville keeps Belair down on the floor as Carmella and Queen Zelina Vega come marching down the ramp to help her with the champ. We go to commercial.

Sonya Deville vs. Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship in a No Count Out and No Disqualification Match

We are back and Carmella holds Bianca for Sonya to punch Bianca.  Bianca fights her off and then kicks and punches Sonya.  Zelina climbs on Bianca’s back and Sonya with a kick.  They Irish whip Bianca into the corner and then Sonya with a shoulder.  Zelina is sent to the apron and Carmella is sent to the floor.  Sonya misses a splash into the corner.  Bianca goes for the Glam Salm but Sonya rolls through and sends Bianca into the turnbuckles.  Sonya puts a chair in the center of the ring and Sonya with a DDT onto the chair.

Sonya gets a near fall.  Sonya puts a chair in the turnbuckles and Bianca sends Sonya into the chair.  Bianca knocks Zelina and Carmella off the apron.  Bianca with a KOD for the three count.

Winner:  Bianca Belair

— We see Edge and Damian Priest in the back as we go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Carmella and Zelina are arguing and Sonya shows up and tells them since they didn’t do their job, they lose their title match. Carmella slaps Zelina and tries to slap Sonya but Sonya mentions she is an official (despite not having her I AM AN OFFICIAL OFFICIAL JACKET).  Sonya slaps Carmella.

— We take a look at what Damian Priest and Edge did to AJ Styles last week.

Backstage:

Edge says it bears repeating that they look down on everyone from their Mountain of Omnipotence.  We kick them down the mountain.  Damian will finish things with Finn Balor.  We used to care about the people, like Volunteers fans or people who would vote for the current Knox County Mayor.  Edge says people are complaining about his suits, what he says, or the purple light.  The truth is that we are better than your favorites.  You need to choke it down because that statement is true.  

Speaking of your favorites, where is AJ Styles.  Is he going to use the jury duty excuse or is he back home nursing his shoulder.  Edge says he is coming for AJ.  You didn’t hit your Phenomenal Forearm at Wrestlemania and you thought you would have won if you hit it.  Edge says he does not think AJ can hit the move with one arm.  He tells AJ he is in over his head and hug your kids with your one good arm.

Damian tells Finn he guilt has been determined and he is the punishment.  Your Judgment Day has arrived.

— Veer Mahan makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Veer Mahaan vs. Sam Smothers

Veer with a boot to the head and an Irish whip and splash to the back.  Veer with a clothesline.  Veer with a seated splash to the back and the Cervical Clutch.  Smothers taps out.

Winner:  Veer Mahaan

After the match, Veer sends Smothers shoulder first into the ring post.  Veer appllies the Cervical Clutch on the floor. Veer lets go and then he chokeslams Smothers onto the announce table.  Veer leaps onto the announce table and he applies the Cervical Clutch on the announce table.

Backstage:

Bobby Lashley is in the back and Sarah asks about his preparation for an arm wrestling match. Lashley says he knows he is stronger than Omos.  He does not trust Omos or MVP so he has to get ready if something else happens.

— Omos makes his way to the ring with MVP for his arm wrestling match. We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and Porter says he has been looking forward to this day.  The day when Bobby Lashley is destroyed by his ego.  The ego that made him think he could go to Wrestlemania without him.  The ego that made him accept an arm wrestling challenge against an athlete superior in every way.  Lashley would be fine with the average superstar, but Omos is not average.  He says Lashley will come out here and Omos will tke his giant hand and put it around Lashley’s puny digits and then he will rip the hand off from the wrist.

Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring.

They assume the position on the Official Over The Top arm wrestling table. The match begins and Omos has things under control until Porter motivates Lashley to get the advantage.  Lashley wins.

Porter tries to attack Lashley from behind but Lashley sees him.  Omos hits Lashley from behind and then slams Lashley’s head into the table.  Omos with knees and a short arm clothesline. Omos picks up the arm wrestling table and drops it onto Lashley.  Omos throws the arm wrestling table to the floor and it makes a divot in the ringside mats.

— We take a look back at the “24/7 Ceremony” from last week. Tamina and Akira Tozawa versus Reggie and Dana Brooke with Guest Referee R Truth is next, but first… We go to commercial.

Before the match, we get an earlier today video. Truth says he is here for group couples counseling.  Truth says if he has to, he will tear them apart to keep them together.  They have 99 problems and love ain’t one of them.  Truth says they have to put the Tru in trust.  He has arranged a mixed tag match and the 24/7 rules are suspended for the match.  Truth says he will keep a close eye on all of them and he is the guest referee.

Reggie and Tozawa lock up and Tozawa with a hip toss.  Reggie with a kick and arm drag.  Dana tags in and that means that Tamina is in the back.  Dana escapes a slam and she kicks Tamina.  Tamina holds Dana and Dana tries to pull her in for a kiss.  Tozawa tags in and Reggie avoids Tozawa and hits a cross body.  Reggie misses a somersault splash and Tozawa with a round kick.  Tozawa with a back senton off the turnbuckles for the three count.

Winners:  Akira Tozawa and Tamina

After the match, Tamina pulls Dana to the mat and Tozawa covers Dana but Truth sends Tozawa into Tamina.  Truth rolls up Dana and gets a near fall.  Dana gets to the floor and escapes.

— We take a look back at what happened last week with Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes.

— Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring and she doesn’t look happy. We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and Becky takes off her glasses and she says it has been three years since I have come out here without my championship.  I did not want to show up on Raw because I don’t know who I am without the title.  I am used to looking in the mirror and seeing a chamipon that I did not recognize myself any more.  I have hit rock bottom.  That is all I have to say…

Becky has a second wind.  She says if she hit rock bottom, there is no place to go but up.  This is just the beginning of a Becky Lynch comeback.  Becky says no one does a comeback better than her.  She will not lay with the schlubs of the Earth.  She will shoot herself to heights unknown.  You get to witness and be inspired by my rise back to my title.  When I overcome your home town girl, Bianca Belair and I will become champion again.  No one will be able to stop me.

Music that sounds like Asuka plays and she is back as she makes her way to the ring.

Asuka speaks in Japanese and Becky does not know what to think.  Asuka does some dancing and she smiles at Becky.  Asuka says she will stop Becky because no one is ready for Asuka. Asuka flicks Becky in the nose and Becky misses a punch but Asuka misses a spinning back fist. Becky goes to the floor while Asuka continues to dance in the ring.

— We take a look at the Street Profits outsmarting Riddle and Orton last week.

Backstage:

The Street Profits are in the back. Dawkins says they respect Orton for his twenty years.  Montez mentions how Bianca defended her Women’s Title in her home town.  Dawkins mentions the main event.  Ford says whoever wins at Backlash, they have next.

We go to commercial.

Finn Balor vs. Damian Priest

They lock up and Balor with a side head lock and Priest with a shoulder tackle.  Priest sends Balor into the corner and connects with punches.  Priest wtih an Irish whip and Priest misses an elbow into the corner.  Balor with punches and a clothesline that sends Priest over the top rope to the floor.  Priest pulls Balor to the floor and Balor with punches.  Priest with a foerarm and an Outsider’s Edge onto the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Priest with a cravate.  Priest with a knee to the midsection but Balor gets a boot up as Priest goes into the corner.  Balor with a flying forearm and a double leg take down and double stomp.  Balor with a chop in the corner.  Priest gets Balor up for a slam but Balor escapes and hits an elevated elbow to the chest for a near fall.  Balor with a kick to the midsection and a kick to the leg.  Priest with a forearm and kicks.  Balor with sling blade and he sets for a drop kick but Priest grabs him by the throat.  Balor with a rollup for a near fall.  Priest misses a splash into the corner and Balor with a kick.

Edge rises from his chair and Priest grabs Balor by the throat and hits South of Heaven.  Priest with a flatliner for the three count.

Winner:  Damian Priest

— The Miz makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Miz TV:

We are back and Miz is in the ring. Miz welcomes everyone to MizTV.  Miz mentions that we are celebrating the 20th anniversary of Randy Orton.  He says Randy’s career may stack up to his some day.  His guest is a true star in the making and might remind you of someone in the ring. Miz brings out Theory and they take a selfie.

Miz says it is like looking in a mirror.  Miz says he had to earn The.  Theory says Vince told him he was just Theory. Miz says it has been a while since someone brought credibility to the US Title for the first time in 12 years. Theory asks if that was when Miz was champion.

Theory says he feels like he is on another level.  He says that he watched Miz growing up and he is an inspiration.  Theory mentions what Miz has done.  Theory says he will live up to Miz’ standards and also prove why he is the best investment that Mr. McMahon has ever made.  Theory says he will take the title to heights it has never seen before.  He is the youngest US Champion in WWE history but he will be remembered as THE United States Champion.  

Miz asks Theory if he can give him advice.  When you become champion, everyone becomes jealous.  No one likes it more when handsome, trendsetters like us win.  Miz says you need to earn the right to face you in the ring. 

Mustafa Ali makes his way to the ring.

Miz asks Ali if he still works here.  Theory asks if he is the guy who took his ball and went home.  Miz says you are Mphasa, Mustafa Ali’s younger brother.

Ali asks Miz why is he out here cracking jokes.  If he wants to laugh, he just has to watch Miz wrestle.  Ali says he is back on Raw.  He says he was talking to Adam Pearce but when he heard the new United States Champion was going to be a guest on MizTV, he had to come out.  He was hoping that Theory was holding an open challenge for the title and Ali says he was hoping to answer that.  Ali challenges Theory for the US Title.

Theory thinks about it and he says he will think about it and he tells Ali, NO. Ali wonders why he is not surprised.  He asks Theory if he has no spines.  Is he all biceps and no balls?  You are running away from a fight like your name is The Miz. Theory says Miz is a former champion and a future hall of famer.  He says that Miz would not run away from a fight.

Miz tells Ali that he is trying to use his name to get a reputation.  Miz says he cannot make a match. Theory says he can and he says that Mr. McMahon made a match between Miz and Ali. Miz says he is going to make Ali wish he got his walking papers.

Ali punches Miz as we go  to commercial.

— Back from the break and we see Kane and Randy Orton in the back.

Miz vs. Mustafa Ali

Ali with a wrist lock.  Miz with a reversal.  Ali with a reversal and Miz wtih a punch and side head lock.  Ali with a side head lock.  Miz misses a splash into the corner when Ali floats over and he chops Miz and punches him.  Miz with a boot to the head.  Miz with kicks and he chokes Ali in the ropes.  Miz gets a near fall.  Miz with a reverse chin lock.  Ali with chops but Miz with a knee to the midsection and a boot to the head for a near fall.  Miz with a chop.  Miz with another chop in the corner.  Miz misses a chop and Ali with chops to Miz.  Miz with a hard Irish whip.  Miz with punches.  Miz with kicks to the chest.  Ali with a round kick and both men are down.

Ali with a drop kick and he chops Miz in the corner.  Miz with an Irish whip but Ali slides into the corner.  Ali with a slingshot rolling neck breaker for a near fall.  Miz blocks a suplex and Miz goes for a suplex but Ali lands on his feet.  Miz with a kick and DDT for a near fall.  Miz sets for the Awesome clothesline but Ali sends Miz to the apron and puts him on the turnbuckles.  Ali sets for a Frankensteiner but Miz pushes Ali off the turnbuckles.  Ali lands awkwardly and Miz with a kick to the knee.  Miz goes for the figure four leg lock and Ali with a rollup for the three count.

Winner:  Mustafa Ali

After the match, Tommaso Ciampa attacks Ali on the stage and stares him down.

Rhea Ripley is in the back with Sarah and Sarah walks away.  We go to commercial.

— We are back with a look at why Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are no longer a team.

Backstage:

Sarah is with Rhea in the back.  Sarah asks if Rhea is ready to say why she attacked Liv. Rhea says she finally opened her eyes.  She won the Raw Women’s title on her own.  Then she was put in the tag division and she was dragged down by weak partners. Liv Morgan siuddenly attacks Rhea and officials have to separate them.

Backstage:

We see Kevin Owens talking to Otis and Chad about the lie detector test.   Seth Rollins shows up and Chad tells Seth to Shoooosh.  He tells Seth to leave so the A and B Plus can talk. Kevin asks Seth why is he here.  Kevin reminds Seth about what Seth said last week.  Kevin says maybe he should give Seth a lie detector test to find out who is the better friend.

The Usos show up and Jey tells them to get in line and Jimmy says they need the win.  Jimmy says after Backlash, they are going to show why no one should mess with the Usos.  He says they better win or they are going to get on the Tribal Chief’s bad side. Seth puts his arm around Kevin and Kevin walks away.

— Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.

— We are back and while Cody is standing in the ring, we see what happened during the arm wrestling match.

Backstage:

We see Omos and MVP in the back and Kevin Patrick ambushes them.  Porter asks if Lashley looked like a winner?  That was not about brawn, it was about brains.  Bobby is not the All Mighty without him.  Omos has challenged Bobby to a match at Backlash. Omos says after he’s done with Lashley, there isn’t going to be much left of the All Mighty.

Cody Rhodes, RK-Bro, and Ezekiel vs. The Usos, Seth Rollins, and Kevin Owens

Ezekiel goes after Owens and then everyone else pairs up and Orton, Riddle, Ezekiel, and Riddle remain in the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Ezekiel with a side head lock and shoulder tackle to Jimmy.  Ezekiel with a boot and back slide for a near fall.  Ezekiel with a delayed vertical suplex for a near fall.  Ezekiel with a wrist lock.  Ezekiel lifts Jimmy up by the wrist and Riddle tags in.  Riddle kicks Jimmy in the chest.  Riddle with a snap mare and Orton tags in.  Orton flips Riddle onto Jimmy and Orton with the Garvin stomp and he runs the boot laces across the face.  Cody tags in and he punches and kicks Jimmy while Orton holds Jimmy.  Cody gets Jimmy up for a suplex throw and Rollins tries to get into the ring but goes to the floor.  Cody drops down and connects with an uppercut.  Jey tags in and Cody send Jimmy to the floor.  Jey with a Samoan drop for a near fall.  Jey punches Cody and applies a front face lock.

Cody and Jey exchange punches.  Jimmy tags in and they make a wish on Cody.  Jimmy chokes Cody in the ropes and Owens with a kick on the apron.  Jey tags in and he hits a splash.  Jey with a forearm to Cody and he forcefully tags in Rollins.  Seth misses a forearm into the corner when Cody moves.  Rollins kicks Orton to the floor but Cody and Rollins collide in the ring.  Ezekiel tags in and clotheslines Rollins.  Rollins with a kick.  Ezekiel with a jumping knee and spinebuster.  Ezekiel presses Rollins over his head and Rollins gets to his feet.  Riddle tags in and hits a Pele Kick.  Riddle with an exploder and he tries for a back senton but Rollins gets his knees up.

Riddle goes up top and Jimmy crotches Rollins.  Rollins with a reverse superplex.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Rollins with a knee to Riddle and he sends Riddle into the corner.  Riddle with a back elbow and hits a twisting senton.  Jimmy tags in and hits a double sledge to Riddle’s back and gets a near fall.  Jimmy with a reverse chin lock.  Riddle knocks Rollins off the apron but Jimmy with a clothesline.  Jey tags in and he kicks Riddle.  Jey with a back breaker and Jimmy tags in.  They Irish whip Riddle into the corner and Riddle goes down.  Jimmy knocks Ezekiel and Rhodes off the apron.  Riddle with a boot to Jimmy and Riddle sends Rollins to the floor.  Jimmy goes for a belly-to-back suplex but Riddle lands on his feet and hits a jumping knee on Jimmy.  Rollins pulls Orton off the apron to prevent the tag.

Jey tags in and hits a running hip.  Owens tags in and hits a swanton for a near fall.  Riddle chops and slaps Jey and connects with forearms.  Jey with an enzuigiri to Riddle but Orton tags in.  Orton with two clotheslines to Jey and ducks a clothesline.  Orton with a power slam.  Orton with a power slam to Jimmy.  Orton takes care of Rollins and Owens.  Jimmy pulls Orton to the floor.  Orton avoids being sent into the announce table and Orton sends Jimmy into the announce table and hits a back drop driver onto the announce table.  Orton does it to Rollins and Owens as well.  Orton rolls back into the ring and he brings Jey to the apron for an IEDDT.

Orton looks around and twists to the match.  Orton is attacked from behind by Rollins.  Rhodes with a Beautiful Disaster.  Orton with an RKO to Jey.  Orton with an RKO to Owens.  Riddle with a knee to Jimmy and Orton with an RKO.  Jey comes off the turnbuckles and is given an RKO for the three count.

Winners: Cody Rhodes, RK-Bro, and Ezekiel

After the match, Orton and Riddle begin celebrating as the music hits. We go to replays and see the heels looking disappointed while trying to recover. The babyfaces continue their post-match celebration. Orton and Riddle raise their titles in the air as RAW goes off the air.
