Charlotte Flair and AEW star Andrade El Idolo will get married this summer.
Flair revealed the news during an interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport. She stated that the wedding will be this summer.
“We have a date, it’s this summer in Mexico,” said Flair. I have my dress.”
When Helwani asked whether Flair will take time off for the wedding, “The Queen” didn’t offer a clear answer but joked that Andrade would be upset if she wore her championship down the aisle.
“Who knows? You’re acting like I’m gonna lose the title at WrestleMania [laughs],” said Flair.” I think [he] would be a little angry with me if I walked down my aisle with my title.”
Flair will defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey at WWE WrestleMania 38. Meanwhile, Andrade received his WWE release last March, and he subsequently signed with AEW.
