Nash Carter, one-half of the current NXT Tag Team Champions MSK, has been released by WWE, just a few days after he won the titles alongside Wes Lee at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 2.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful first reported, then conformed, the news in a tweet on April 6.
Carter has been the subject of assault allegations from his wife, Kimber Lee, over the past several days. Additionally, a past picture of Carter, in which he has an Adolf Hitler-like mustache and makes a Nazi salute, has resurfaced online. Carter has not publicly responded to the allegations made against him.
MSK debuted in WWE in January 2021, and they won the 2021 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. The duo won the NXT tag team Championship twice, with their second win coming at Stand & Deliver on April 2. Previously, Carter and Lee were featured as The Rascalz in IMPACT Wrestling before they signed in WWE.
WWE has not confirmed the news or announced what it intends to do with the titles.
