Tyson Fury Says He Will Make A WWE Return – Tyson Fury has practically guaranteed that he will make a WWE return one day. The boxer made his in-ring debut at WWE Crown Jewel 2019 by beating Braun Strowman by count-out when he punched him off the apron.
He later returned in November 2019 on an episode of SmackDown to team with Strowman to defeat B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel). Since that time, he has hinted at returning and there were plans for Fury to work a match with Drew McIntyre at a WWE PPV event in the UK in 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic nixed those plans.
Speaking to GiveMeSport, Fury said fans can expect him back in a WWE ring.“One million percent, you will see me in the WWE again. One million percent,” he said.
It is unknown when Fury will return to WWE, but WWE is reportedly planning to return for a UK PPV in September. Fury is slated to fight Dillian Whyte on Saturday, April 23 at Wembley Stadium in London, England.
