Friday’s WWE SmackDown episode saw the ratings be mixed. The show averaged 2.180 million viewers on FOX, which is up from 2.147 million a week ago, according to Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics.
In the all-important 18-49 demographic, the show did a 0.49 rating, down from the 0.58 rating a week ago. The key demo was the lowest since December 24th, which was a taped show. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show compared to last week:
Viewers 18-34 – 0.37 – a week ago: 0.35
Viewers 18-49 – 0.49 – a week ago: 0.58
Viewers 25-54 – 0.65 – a week ago: 0.73
Female viewers 18-49 – 3.6 – a week ago: 4.1
Male viewers 18-49 – 4.5 – a week ago: 5.7
Viewers 50+ – 3.0 – a week ago: 2.8
As for AEW Rampage, the show drew 425,000 viewers and a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic on TNT in the 10 pm ET time slot. Last week the show did 398,000 viewers and a 0.13 rating in the 11:30 pm ET time slot.
This was the lowest key demo and viewership in the history of the show. The night was dominated by college basketball games. The October 8th edition was the lowest key demo rating while the previous viewership low came on November 26th.
Rampage ranked #32 in the top 150 shows on cable for the night, up from last week’s #57 ranking. Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics reported the news. Here’s the breakdown in each demo for the show:
