It looks like Cody Rhodes has signed his WWE contract and he will be wrestling at WrestleMania.
Reddit user/insider kerrmit125, who has broken many stories in the past, just posted the following in the Squared Circle forum:
“The Visionary is all smoke and mirrors …. You’re welcome.”
This indicates that Cody will be on Raw tonight to set up the match with Seth Rollins. Dave Meltzer reported earlier today that Rhodes vs. Rollins was still listed internally for WrestleMania as of last Friday. For what it’s worth, on Thursday Brandi Rhodes tweeted, “Celebrating some cool things” so that may have been when the contract was signed.
For those of you who might ask about kermit125’s accuracy, let’s just say that he has nailed everything he’s reported on including Ronda Rousey’s number in the Royal Rumble and plans for the WrestleMania main event. He was also first to report that Lita was returning to Raw in January to set up a match with Becky Lynch and he first reported a few weeks ago about Sharmell going into the WWE Hall Of Fame. The other report, which has yet to pan out, is that Shad Gaspard will be posthumously honored with the Warrior Award during the Hall Of Fame ceremony.
