WWE Personnel Warn Tony Khan Against Hiring Shane McMahon

WWE Personnel Warn Tony Khan Against Hiring Shane McMahon

It probably hasn’t been the best week of Shane McMahon’s career. Not only was he denied a match with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania and a spot in the Elimination Chamber, he was also kicked out of his own father’s company.

Unsurprisingly, the news of Shane’s WWE departure brought with it its fair share of “Shane to AEW” memes and social media posts, but according to Wade Keller of PWTorch, even people within WWE think AEW having Shane on their books would be a bad idea.

Speaking on PWTorch Audio, Keller said:

“People in WWE are letting me know that someone should warn Tony Khan what he’s in for if he brings Shane in, because the sense of entitlement, and I don’t know if ego is the right word, that Shane would bring along with him in a company that isn’t WWE would probably be amplified compared to how he was acting on Saturday, which was just basically out of control.”

Keller noted in a previous audio post that there is a possibility we never see Shane on a WWE TV show ever again due to the level of the fallout between himself and Vince McMahon.

We will of course bring any further updates when they become available.
