WWE has filed a trademark for Roman Reigns.
February 14, WWE locked down the rights to the terms, “The Bloodline” with it being listed for entertainment and merchandising purposes. Here is the description:
“G & S: Wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports via an online community portal.”
Reigns started the faction that includes The Usos and Paul Heyman last summer. They’re all champions and have been booked as a dominant force with Reigns as the Universal Champion while The Usos are the SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
Reigns is slated to take on WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 in early April in a winner takes all match. The two stars will have a contract signing on tonight’s episode of SmackDown.
