John Cena and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will always have one thing in common as they both came from the world of pro wrestling and made the transition into leading Hollywood actors.
Cena continues to find success while The Rock has maintained his status of being one of the biggest stars in acting.
Cena was recently asked about the possibility of The Rock being featured in season two of the “Peacemaker” series on HBO Max following the success of the first season during an interview with People magazine.
The Rock is also part of the DC family as he will star in the “Black Adam” movie that comes out later this year.
“I’ll say the same thing every time with possibilities in the sort of universe… it would be an honor and a privilege to be able to perform with him. I think there still is a passionate marketplace that wants to see him in. But I’m sorry, man, that’s just not my choice so I don’t know. It’s so far beyond me. It’s beyond what I’m able to control.”
Cena and The Rock had a high-profile feud in WWE as they headlined back-to-back WrestleMania events in 2012 and 2013 with each getting a win.
