Carlos Cabrera is no longer under contract with WWE as the longtime Spanish announcer has been released.
Lucha Libre Online reported the news today:
“Breaking News: As first reported by Lucha Libre Online, former Spanish announcer Carlos Cabrera has been released from his WWE contract after 29 years with the company. —

Cabrera had worked for the company since 1993 and also hosted WWE En Español. His longtime broadcast partner, Hugo Savinovich, served as a color commentator until 2011. Cabrera had been working as a play-by-play commentator with Marcelo Rodriguez in recent years.
