WWE RAW Results (1/10) Philadelphia, PA– We begin with a look at how we got an opponent for Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble, with Bobby Lashley winning a Fatal 4 Way over Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and former champion Big E on last week’s RAW episode.
— We are live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA, as Brock Lesnar and Paul heyman make their way to the ring to start the show.
We see Bobby Lashley in the back and Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin show up and Cedric is happy they are back together. Lashley tells them that he is done with them and they are no more.
We go back to the ring and Paul does his introduction. Brock says he loves that. He says he can’t believe we are back.
Bobby Lashley’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring with MVP.
Bobby says it is an honor to finally stand in the ring with you and share the spotlight. From one superathlete to another, it is good to look you right in the eye and, with all due respect, for twenty years, you have been ducking and running from me.
Brock says with all due respect, it is an honor to be in the ring with me. Brock apologizes because for the last 20 years he has been winning championships in this ring and other rings. That doesn’t fall on me. That falls on you. I don’t have a clue who you are until I met you at Day 1. It is your fault you didn’t climb into the same level of success as me. If we had already met, I would have already beaten you and we wouldn’t be here. With all due respect.
Brock says that MVP and Lashley are dressed really fancy and he asks what is the thread count. Bobby says when he beats Brock at the Royal Rumble and you start your career as a stand up comedian, we will be sitting front row because you are money.
Brock has a knock knock joke for Paul and Paul is shocked. Who is? Bobby. Bobby who? Exactly! Brock tells Bobby it is impossible to beat Brock Lesnar and it is even more impossible to beat Brock Lesnar when you are a Brock Lesnar wannabe.
Brock heads to the back and Bobby Lashley looks at Brock from the ring while Benjamin and Alexander suddenly attack Lashley from behind. Lashley fights them off and clears the ring of Benjamin, then spikes Alexander into the mat. Lashley goes to ringside, scoops Benjamin and rams him into the ring post. Lashley grabs Alexander and launches him into the barrier, then runs him into the ring post. Lashley and MVP make their exit with Alexander and Benjamin laid out.
Backstage:
Riddle is in gorilla position and he is trying to summon the Viper. Randy Orton shows up and Randy tells Riddle he needs to focus. They lost to Alpha Academy last week because you didn’t tag me in. We have a second chance but the stakes are higher. The titles are on the line. Randy tells Riddle if he needs any help and he pulls out a marker and he writes Tag In Randy on Riddle’s hand. Riddle says they should get cheesesteaks after the match and he asks if he is a Pat’s or Geno’s guy and Randy says Geno’s. Corey points out that the answer is Tony Luke’s.
Orton and Riddle make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.
RK-Bro vs. Alpha Academy for the Raw Tag Team Championships
Gable and Riddle start things off and Riddle with a waist lock but Gable with a drop toe hold. Riddle with a front face lock and take down. Gable gets to the ropes to force a break. They lock up and Gable with a wrist lock. Gable with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Riddle rolls through and tries for an Omoplata but Gable gets to the ropes. They lock up and Gable stomps on the feet. Gable with an Irish whip and Riddle floats over and connects with a round kick and back senton. Riddle goes to the apron and kicks Gable in the chest. Riddle with a twisting Asai Moonsault.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Riddle sends Gable into the turnbuckles to get out of a choke. We see footage of Gable giving Riddle a dragon screw leg whip in the ropes. Riddle gets a near fall and Gable with a dragon screw to Riddle. Otis tags in and Gable with a shoulder in the corner and Otis with a body block. Riddle lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Riddle knocks Gable off the apron and Riddle with a twisting senton to Otis. Orton and Gable tag in and Orton with three clotheslines and then he hits a power slam. Orton drops Otis on the middle rop and Gable drops Orton on the top rope to counter an IEDDT. Orton crotches Gable on the turnbuckles.
Orton sets for a superplex and hits it. Orton looks around and punches the mat but Otis distracts Orton and then Otis with a shoulder to Riddle on the floor. Orton with a rollup but Otis tags in and hits a World’s Strongest Slam for the three count.
Winners and NEW Raw Tag Team Champions: Alpha Academy
— We go to comments from Damian Priest talking about his debut last year in the Royal Rumble. He says he will top it by winning the Royal Rumble. What other title will he hold besides the United States Chamiponship.
Backstage:
The Street Profits are in the back with Damian Priest. Damian says he is glad they have each other’s back against Dolph, Roode, and Apollo. Ford says of course he has his back in Philadelphia. Angelo wants to know which side of him they will be working with. Damian asks for a cup and he says that he has beaten down their opponents from both sides.
Back to commercial.
— We are back and Bianca Belair says she proved herself last year winning the Royal Rumble and the World Title at Wrestlemania. She says she will be walking into Wrestlemania as the champion. She will win tonight and then she will beat Becky at Royal Rumble.
Robert Roode, Dolph Ziggler, and Apollo Crews vs. Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins, and Damian Priest
Crews and Ford start things off and Crews with a forearm to the back and an Irish whip. Ford floats over and does a handspring and round off before a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Crews with a kick and Ziggler tags in and he kicks Ford in the ribs. Ziggler with a punch and he misses a splash in the corner. Priest tags in and punches Ziggler. Priest with more punches and he boxes the ears. Priest wtih a flapjack and then he kicks and punches Roode. Priest with a spinning heel kick to Roode. Priest knocks Crews off the apron. Priest with splashes to Roode and Ziggler. Roode blocks a Priest suplex to Roode. Ford and Dawkins take care of Roode. Priest clotheslines Ziggler and he joins his partners on the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Crews presses Ford over his head and drops him to the mat. Crews with a standing moonsault for a near fall. Ziggler tags in and he punches Ford. Ziggler gets a near fall. Ziggler with a reverse chin lock. Ziggler with a boot to the back of the head. Ziggler with a thrust kick to knock Priest off the apron. Zigggler goes for a Fameasser on Ford but Ford blocks it and counters with a power bomb. Ziggler tries to keep Ford from getting to his corner but Dawkins and Roode tag in. Dawkins with a flying back elbow and then he hits an exploder on Crews. Angelo follows with a t-bone suplex to Ziggler and then he sends Roode into the corner and hits a twisting splash followed by Silencer for a near fall. Priest kicks Crews to the floor.
Priest sets for a power bomb on the floor but Azeez shows up and Crews kicks Priest in the back of the head. Ford with a flip dive onto Crews and Azeez. Roode with a rollup on Dawkins for a near fall. Roode with a back elbow and Ziggler tags in. Dawkins hits Anointment on Roode but Ziggler with Zig Zag for the three count.

–We take a look back at Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar from Smackdown and the announcement of Roman’s opponent at the Royal Rumble.

In the Arena:
We are back and Seth Rollins says that he is in a good mood. He says the Royal Rumble is on the horizon. You may be asking why are you so excited for the Royal Rumble? Is it because Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar, two nincompoops will punch each other until they fall over? Nah. Is it because 30 men and 30 women will throw each other over the top rope for a chance to be immortal at Wrestlemania? Nah. I am excited because it is the night I become the new Universal Champion. That’s right. At the Royal Rumble, it will be the Visionary versus the Tribal Chief. The Revolutionary versus Head of the Table. Brother versus Brother.
You may ask how did you get into this Universal Championship match? Did you get an advocate or special counsel? I don’t need a penguin looking snake oil salesman to do my business for me. There are a few things in life that are certain. Death, taxes, and Seth Rollins beats Roman Reigns every single time.
Big E’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring with something to say.
Big E says it is incredible news. He is so excited for Seth. He is as excited as Gritty after a big Flyers win. Seth asks what is a Gritty and the crowd boos. Seth asks why is Big E so excited for him. Big E says that Seth is the one of the champions he is picking. Big E says he is in the Royal Rumble match. Of all the things I can dream and fantasize about, at or near the top is doing the thing he intended to do at Day 1, but to do at the Show of Shows, at Wrestlemania.
Seth asks what is that. Big E says that is to beat Seth and walk out as World Champion. Seth laughs and says that he is happy Big E is in the Royal Rumble, it does not matter what day it is because you cannot beat me. Big E suggests that they test out that theory tonight. Seth says he does not know how he feels about that. Seth says next week, in a better town would work. Big E says let’s not just do it tonight. Let’s do it right now. Seth accepts the match.
Seth Rollins vs. Big E
Big E with a side head lock and a belly-to-belly suplex. Rollins with a boot to the head and then Rollins sends Big E to the floor and hits a suicide dive. Rollins goes for a second one but Big E with a forearm. Big E puts Rollins on the apron and Big E with a splash on the apron.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Big E sends Rollins into the announce table. They return to the ring and Rollins with a kick and chops. Rollins with a waist lock and Big E with a back drop and Irish whip but Rollins does the Michaels flip in the corner. Rollins tries to float over in the corner but Big E catches Rollins. Rollins with a clip and DDT. Big E rolls to the floor to recover. Rollins goes to the apron and hits a running knee off the apron to the temple.
Rollins goes up top and hits a knee to the head. Rollins gets a near fall. Rollins with a reverse chin lock. Rollins with a chop and forearm in the corner. Rollins runs into the corner but is met with a UranagE. Big E with clotheslines and then he avoids a clothesline and goes for a belly-to-belly suplex. Rollins with an elbow. Big E sends Rollins to the apron and spears Rollins through the ropes and both men go to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rollins with a reverse chin lock. Big E with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex and then hits a second one. Big E avoids Rollins and hits a standard belly-to-belly suplex. Big E sets for the Warrior Splash and hits it. Big E sets for Big Ending but Rollins escapes and avoids Big E in the corner. Rollins with an arm drag to counter the UranagE. Rollins with a rolling elbow and then he sets for a suplex but Big E blocks it. Rollins with an enzuigiri and a rollup for a near fall. Rollins with a kick for a near fall. Rollins with a frog splash for a near fall. Rollins sets for Black Out but Big E counters with a power bomb for a near fall. Big E with a Stretch Muffler and he lifts Rollins off the mat.
Rollins gets to the ropes. Rollins with elbows to Big E but Big E with a side slam for a near fall. Rollins goes to the apron and Big E sets for a spear through the ropes but Rollins with a knee. Rollins goes up top and Big E punches Rollins. Big E grabs Rollins for a Super Big Ending but Rollins with elbows and Big E goes to the mat. Rollins misses a knee off the turnbuckles. Rollins escapes a Big Ending one more time. Big E escapes a pedigree. Rollins with kicks and a rolling elbow followed by Black Out. Rollins gets the three count.
Winner: Seth Rollins
— We take a look at the video for the women in the Royal Rumble match with Charlotte Flair added.
— Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.
In the Arena:
Sarah Schreiber is in the ring with Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H. Sarah says they have an announcement to make.
Nikki says they challenge Zelina and Carmella for a rematch. Rhea tells Nikki that isn’t what they talked about. Sarah asks about the speculation about the future of the team and whether the team has run its course. Nikki says there are no problems. Rhea tells Nikki not to talk about this out here. Nikki says they are going to talk about it right now.
Nikki says they are talking about the future of their team. Rhea says it is time to go our separate ways. Nikki asks if it is about the tag titles. They will get them back. Rhea says it is not about the titles. Nikki asks what is is about. Do you think you are better than me because I was the one who got pinned. Rhea says she never said she was better than Nikki.
Nikki says that Rhea was thinking it. She stayed Rhea’s partner because that is what partners do even if one is better than the other. Rhea says she never said she was better. Nikki says she was talking about her but it is nice to know where your head is at. Rhea says she does not like where it is going and Nikki tells her to walk out. Rhea says that Nikki is making her feel uncomfortable so let’s say goodbye.
Rhea offers her hand and Nikki says if Rhea doesn’t want to be her teammate any more. She cannot shake Rhea’s hand until Rhea tells Nikki that she believes in her. Rhea says that she has always believed in her and always will. Whether it is with her or without her, she hopes that Nikki still believes in herself and that they can still be friends.
Nikki asks Rhea if they can still be friends. Rhea and Nikki hug and… Nikki with a double thrust to the throat when Rhea wants a fist bump. Nikki with forearms and punches before she leaves the ring.
Backstage:
Dana Brooke is in teh back and Reggie shows up and he has some cheese steaks for Dana. Reggie says he knows when the 24/7 title is in danger. R Truth shows up and he wants to know if it was Cheese Wiz or provolone. Dana throws her cheese steak at Tozawa but misses and we see that it was Tamina who got hit wit the wit.
Omos walks in the back and he bumps into Reggie. Omos picks up Reggie and Dana tells Omos to put him down and Omos tells her to make him. Omos tells Reggie to watch what he does tonight because next week, he is going to do worse.
Back to commercial.
— We are back and Doudrop says that last year Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan got chance after chance without winning. I will show them. After I win tonight, I will beat Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble.
Omos vs. Nick Sanders
Sanders runs into Omos and goes down. Omos stands on Nick’s ankle and he cannot crawl away. Omos grabs Nick and tosses him down to the mat. Omos with an elbow into the corner. Omos gets Nick on his shoudlers and drops him face first to the mat.
We see Reggie and Dana watching in the back.
Omos with a vertical choke slam for the three count.
Winner: Omos
— We see what happened when the Hurt Business reunion did not work out so well.
— Edge makes his way to the ring as we go to commercial.
In the Arena:
We are back and Edge says it is good to be back in the city of fighters. He says his guest tonight is the most vivacious and curvaceous. He brings out his guest, Beth Phoenix.
Edge mentions that they are married and have two spectacular girls. Edge says Day 1 was the first time they got to interact. Edge says he wants to remind how much ass Beth kicked in the ring. He says if this was the 70s, she is part of the Broad Street Bullies. They have collected 35 WWE Championships, more than any other couple in history. They are the only couple in the WWE Hall of Fame. Beth is a wrecking machine.
We have a video package for Beth Phoenix.
Beth says the video and compliments are great and she asks if Edge is trying to butter her up for later. She says flattery will get him everywhere. She says she is out here to talk some business. That video was a sampler platter of what i am going to dish out for Maryse. The verbal diahrrea from Miz has to stop. We are going to shut their mouths for good at the Royal Rumble.
Since this is not the Royal Rumble, Miz and Maryse make their way to the ring.
Miz says hello to PhilthyDelphia. He says looking at this crowd he stands with Ben Simmons. He would give up $33 million just to not play in this crap city. Have you seen yourselves? Miz says hello to Edge. Miz says he thought Edge would slander him and Maryse and say that they would win at Royal Rumble. Miz says he had Edge beat until he manipulated his wife to get involved. What man has his wife fight his fights.
Edge says Miz used his wife to take a spear and Miz calls it slander.
Miz says that he has his own highlight video for Maryse to show how much better she is than Beth.
Miz asks if the people realize how big of a star his wife is. Do you realize how lucky you are to be in her presence and see her live and in person. You two should be honored to set foot in the same ring as Maryse.
Edge points out Maryse is a former champion and you proved everyone wrong. You work hard at what you do and they respect you. Edge says his wife can deadlift a Buick. She smashes things. If i had to step in the ring, I would have the same look as her.
Beth points out how shy Maryse has become. You were interfering in my husband’s matches until you knew i was back. Now you are shy as a mouse. The time for apologizes are gone. I am going to wreck you and every person in the arena will be chanting ‘Au Revoir’.
Miz tells Maryse to tell Beth how bad she is going to beat her at the Royal Rumble. Maryse walks away while Miz tries to talk up what Maryse is going to say. Miz looks around and sees that she is gone.
Beth tells Miz if Maryse is too afraid to show up for the match and if Adam doesn’t get you first, I will take great pleasure in knocking your teeth in.
Backstage:
Kevin Patrick ambushes Austin Theory in the back to talk about his match with AJ Styles. Austin says he talked to Mr. McMahon and he was reminded about what AJ has done. Austin says he will beat AJ Styles and Mr. McMahon will have not doubt but to invest in Austin Theory. Kevin asks if Mr. McMahon had any other words of advice and Austin says Vince told him not to mess it up.

Austin Theory vs. AJ Styles
Theory with a forearm and AJ with chops. AJ with an Irish whip and Theory floats over but AJ does not go into the corner and AJ with a back breaker. Theory with a clothesline into the corner and he hits a slingshot seated splash into a suplex for a near fall. Theory with a waist lock. AJ with a drop kick and Theory goes to the floor. AJ goes for a slingshot move but AJ goes to the apron. Theory sends AJ to the floor and Theory with a rolling drop kick that knocks AJ off the apron.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Theory with an Irish whip but AJ with a boot. AJ escapes a suplex and AJ with strikes that sends Theory to the mat. AJ with a flying forearm. AJ goes for a suplex but turns it into a neck breaker for a near fall. Theory with an ushigoroshi for a near fall. Theory goes for ATL but AJ gets to the apron and connects with a forearm.
Grayson Waller pulls AJ off the apron and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner by DQ: AJ Styles
After the match, Theory introduces himself to Waller and takes a selfie before letting Waller finish with AJ. AJ with a forearm and he sends Waller into the apron and announce table. Waller gets out of the ring before AJ can do anything else to him.
Kevin Patrick ambushes Grayson Waller in the back to ask him about his underhanded tactics. Waller says that is a preview of what will happen tomorrow when he deals with the Grayson Waller Effect.
— Liv Morgan says she knows what it feels to come so close to victory. She will not give up her quest for the title. After she wins tonight, I will not come close to winning the title at the Royal Rumble. I’m winning it.
— Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring as we go to commercial.
Alexa Bliss:
We go to Alexa Bliss in a doctor’s office. They stare at each other and then things go silent.
The doctor introduces himself and he asks her to breathe deep. The first step to recovery is to admit you have a problem in the first place. Alexa says she has a problem and she asks the doctor to fix her.
The doctor will determine her reaction time. He says he needs to know where she is right now. He shows her a video of Charlotte ripping Lilly.
He asks Alexa how does that make her feel. Alexa says it makes her thirsty and she pours herself some water but she does not stop when the glass fills up. She grabs him by the tie and she asks him how does it make her feel. He says not so great.
Alexa says she feels pretty dandy as she destroys the room. Alexa says she guesses she has a problem.
In the Arena:
Becky Lynch is still in the ring and she has something to say.
Becky says there are three women in the back ready for their Triple Threat Match. Liv Morgan won’t back down even if she should. BIanca has undeniable strength but Becky beat her at SummerSlam. Becky says she has to give some respect to Doudrop since she is a fellow Celt. They have notions of grandeur to think they will overthrow her. They are fighting for the right to tell their grandkids that they… lost to Big Time Becky Lynch.
Doudrop vs. Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair in a Number One Contender Match
Doudrop, Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair make their way to the ring, but first… we go to commercial.
Liv and Bianca work over Doudrop as the match starts but Doudrop with an exploder to Bianca. Bianca moves and Doudrop goes to the floor. Bianca sets for a dive to the floor but Doudrop trips Bianca and pulls her to the floor. Liv with a flip dive onto Bianca and Doudrop. Liv and Bianca return to the ring and Liv gets a near fall. Bianca with a shoulder tackle to Liv. Bianca slaps her rear end to taunt Liv. Liv with a head scissors take down. Liv misses a splash into the corner. Bianca with a shoulder. Bianca avoids Doudrop in the corner. Doudrop goes for a power bomb and Bianca escapes and sends Doudrop into Liv. Bianca with a belly-to-back suplex to Liv and Doudrop with a cross body to both.
Doudrop with a Michinoku Driver to Bianca and Liv with a boot to Doudrop. Liv comes off the turnbuckles but Doudrop blocks a head scissors. Doudrop gets Liv on her shoulders and drops Liv onto Bianca. Doudrop with a double pin for a near fall. Doudrop with a Million Dollar Dream on Liv. Doudrop with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Doudrop misses a cannonball when Liv moves. Liv with boots to the back but Doudrop sends Liv over the top rope and Liv hits the ring steps.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Doudrop blocks a Glam Slam attempt. Doudrop with a head butt and Irish whip. Doudrop misses a shoulder in the corner. Liv with a head scissors to Bianca off Doudrop’s back. Liv with a rollup to Doudrop for a near fall. Bianca with a spear to Doudrop and everyone is down. Doudrop rolls to the floor so it is Bianca and Liv. They exchange punches and punch like moves. Bianca avoids an enzuigiri and gets a near fall with a rollup. Liv with Rings of Saturn but Bianca grabs the hair to stop her. Liv with elbows to Bianca. Bianca gets back to her feet and Liv with a face buster. Liv with a face buster to Doudrop. Liv kicks Bianca into the turnbuckles. Liv with forearms to the back and then she puts Bianca on the turnbuckles.
Liv goes for a belly-to-back superplex but Doudrop with a forearm to Liv and Bianca hits the ring post. Doudrop with a power bomb to Liv and she falls on top of Liv but Bianca with a 450 splash onto Bianca. Bianca gets a near fall on Doudrop and then on Liv. Bianca with forearms to Doudrop and Liv. Bianca with a spienbuster to Doudrop and then she hits a Glam Slam to Liv onto Doudrop. Bianca with a handspring moonsault to Liv and Doudrop. Bianca with KOD to Liv and Becky breaks up the cover. Bianca chases Becky around the ring. Bianca kicks and punches Becky. Becky sends Bianca over the announce table. Doudrop goes to the turnbuckels and hits a Banzai Drop ala Yokozuna for the three count.
Winner: Doudrop
After the match, Doudrop stands tall as her music hits. Doudrop vs. Lynch is confirmed for the Royal Rumble. Becky comes in and offers her hand for a shake and Doudrop extends her hand but Becky slaps her instead. Becky tries for a Man-Handle Slam but Doudrop blocks it. Becky quickly retreats to the floor and looks surprised as Doudrop stares her down from the ring. Becky rants about helping Doudrop win as RAW goes off the air.
