WWE has announced NXT Vengeance Day for Tuesday, February 15 on the USA Network. The show will feature the finals of the 2022 Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Tonight’s NXT opener saw MSK defeat Jacket Time in a first round match of the Dusty Classic. MSK will now face Edris Enofe and Malik Blade in the semi-finals. Tonight’s NXT will also feature The Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Andre Chase and Bhodi Hayward, with the winners advancing to face The Creed Brothers in the next round.
The NXT North American Title match is also official for Vengeance Day.
Tonight’s NXT 2.0 main event saw Cameron Grimes defeat Tony D’Angelo to become the new #1 contender to NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes.
WWE then confirmed Grimes vs. Hayes for Vengeance Day, with the title on the line.
Hayes and Trick Williams watched tonight’s main event from the platform above the crowd. The finish saw Pete Dunne return and attack D’Angelo with a cricket bat, allowing Grimes to hit the Cave-In for the pin.
