As noted earlier tonight, former WWE Superstar Charlie Haas made his Impact Wrestling debut at Sunday’s tapings in Dallas, TX, where he confronted Josh Alexander.
Later in the tapings, Haas wrestled Alexander and that led to an angle with the former ROH wrestlers coming out to attack both Haas and Alexander.
It’s unclear what exactly happened but Haas was hurt and he was taken out of the building on a stretcher. At this point, there is no further word on his status but we’ll pass along more news when we get it. Tommy Dreamer confirmed to the fans in attendance that Haas was legitimately hurt.
Haas has gotten himself into great shape and has alluded to personal issues in his life but he has seemingly gotten better in recent months and that is what likely led to Impact booking him. We wish him well and a speedy recovery.
