There are several big AEW contracts set to expire soon.
The Young Bucks, who recently had their deals extended by two years because of an option clause that included a raise, signed their deals on January 1, 2019. The Bucks would have signed their deals around the same time as several other top names with the company.
Meltzer noted that Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, Brandi Rhodes, “Hangman” Adam Page, and Chris Jericho would be in the same category as Matt and Nick Jackson since they were in the original group of people with three-year contracts and the option that Khan has the right to pick up.
It is expected that all of those names will be renewed but nothing has been confirmed. on PWTorch, Wade Keller recently reported that he did not think that some of the top names have been re-signed or extended yet but it’s expected to happen.
For what it’s worth, when Chris Jericho has talked about the next Jericho Cruise, he has talked about AEW wrestlers being there so it sounds like he intends on staying with the company.
