NXT 2.0 Results (12/7) – We begin with highlights from Sunday’s NXT War Games.

We are live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL, as Wade Barrett and Vic Joseph welcome us to the show.

Kyle O’Reilly vs. Von Wagner in a Steel Cage Match

Von Wagner makes his way to the ring and O’Reilly attacks Von from behind during his entrance. Kyle sends Wagner into the steel cage and ring steps.  Wagner goes into the cage and Kyle follows.

Kyle with a boot and punches after the referee officially starts the match.  Wagner with an Irish whip and Kyle with a clothesline out of the corner.  Wagner with a clothesline and he runs Kyle into the corner and connects with shoulders.  Wagner goes for a suplex but Kyle tries to counter into an arm submission.  Kyle with elbows to the arm and a wrist lock.  Wagner with a belly-to-back suplex.  Wagner misses a diving head butt and Kyle with forearms to the back of the head.  Kyle with a knee to the ribs and sliding knees to the ribs.  Kyle pulls at the nose.  Kyle with a kick to the leg and chest.  Kyle puts the leg in the ropes and Wagner pushes Kyle to the mat and connects with a running boot to the chest.  

Wagner with forearms and a gutwrench suplex.  Wagner chokes Kyle against the cage.  Kyle goes for an ankle lock but Wagner escapes.  Kyle with kicks but Wagner with a slam and diving head butt for a near fall.  Wagner with a waist lock.  Wagner gets a near fall and holds on to the waist lock.  Kyle gets to his feet and connects with elbows to escape.  Kyle works on the shoulder but he runs into a boot.  Kyle puts Wagner in the ropes and hits a dragon screw leg whip.  Kyle with kicks to the leg.  Wagner with a short arm clothesline.  Wagner gets Kyle up for a power bomb and sends him into the cage, but Kyle counters with a DDT and both men are down.

Kyle and Wagner exchange forearms.  Wagner with a waist lock take down.  Kyle with elbows and he backs Wagner into the turnbuckles.  Wagner with a hard Irish whip.  Wagner gets a near fall and then returns to the waist lock.  Kyle with elbows and Wagner with a forearm and he returns to the waist lock and connects with a knee to the back.  Wagner with a back elbow for a near fall.  Wagner goes back to the waist lock.  Kyle with a back elbow.  Wagner with a forearm.  Kyle with kicks to the leg.  Wagner grabs Kyle by the throat but Kyle escapes.  Wagner misses a splash against the ropes and hits the cage.  Kyle with knees and kicks to Wagner.

Kyle with running forearms to Wagner against the cage.  Kyle climbs the ropes and kicks Wagner in the back of the head.  Kyle with a guillotine with Wagner in the ropes.  Wagner picks up Kyle and hits a suplex.  Wagner with a Harley Race knee for a near fall.  Kyle with a forearm to the back of the leg and a kick to the back of the head.  Kyle with a knee to the head.  Kyle goes to the turnbuckles and Wagner with a forearm to stop him.  They both climb onto the ropes and Wagner sets for a Super Choke Slam but Kyle with kicks.  Kyle sends Wagner into the cage and Wagner falls to the mat.  Kyle with a knee drop to the back of the head for a near fall.

Wagner with a low blow and he sends Kyle into the cage a few times.  Wagner with a twisting butterfly slam for the three count.

Winner:  Von Wagner

After the match, Wagner starts to leave the cage but he grabs Kyle and puts him in the tree of woe in front of the cage door.  Wagner goes to the fllor and he slams the cage door into Kyle a few times.  Kyle gets out of the tree of woe but that does not stop Wagner from slamming the cage door into Kyle’s head one last time.

— We take a look at Johnny Gargano’s comments after War Games about telling everyone what is going on tonight.

— Bron Breakker walks in the back and we go to commercial.

— We are back with Joe Gacy and Harland.  Joe says the outcome of the match at War Games was not as important as their bigger vision.  it was more important than the Cruiserweight Division.  We broke down barriers and we are trying to change the name of a show that excludes people.  People have misjudged Harland.  Joe says he accepts Harland and he will make his debut next week.  It won’t be long before everyone accepts him too.  Together, we can change the world.

— Bron Breakker makes his way to the ring.

Bron says at War Games, two teams went to battle and Team Black and Gold is tough as nails.  They built the foundation for what NXT is today.  He has the utmost respect for them . . .but Tommaso Ciampa.  You pinned me at Halloween Havoc and I pinned you at War Games.  That makes us 1 and 1.  I am challenging you for your title.

Malcolm Bivens comes out and wants to congratulate Bron before the Creeds defeat Briggs and Jensen.  You are the real deal, but you aren’t the only one who was successful at War Games.  Roderick has wiped the division clean and the weight limit is lifted.

Bron tells Bivens to get to the point or he will throw him into the fifth row. Malcolm tells LeBron that the Creeds will not let him do that.  Roderick gave them the blueprint for the foundation of this brand.  Roderick Strong is the face of NXT and he has his sights set on you.

Bron wants to know where Strong is. Bivens says when Roderick returns next week, he will put an end to the unstoppable Bron Breakker. Bron says he doesn’t care who he has to run through to get to Ciampa.  I accept the challenge.

— We are back with a look at the road trip MSK has taken to get to the Shaman. We will find out later tonight.

The Creed Brothers vs. Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs

James Drake and Zack Gibson are on commentary.

The bell rings and before anything happens, Imperium appears on the HHH Balcony.  Brutus with a take down on Jensen and he rides him.  Jensen with forearms.  Jensen with a shoulder tackle and an elbow drop.  Jensen with a chop and clothesline in the corner followed by a snap mare and forearm to the back for a near fall.  Briggs tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle.  Brutus with an uppercut and Julius tags in and Briggs with a forearm.  Briggs with a shoulder tackle and a side slam and splash.  Jensen tags in and they slide to the floor and connect with forearms.  Brutus tags in and hits an overhead belly-to-belly suplex followed by an elbow drop.  Brutus with punches and he grabs the ankle.  Julius tags in.  

They pass Jensen between each other with knees.  Julius with a slam and he kicks Jensen.  Brutus tags in and he hits a fireman’s carry.  Brutus sends Jensen to Julius for a fireman’s carry.  Jensen with forearms to get out of the corner but Brutus clotheslines Jensen over the top rope to the floor.  Julius tags in and he htis a front face lock suplex on the floor.  Gibson and Drake get up from the announce table and Drake removes the tag reope.

Julius tags in and gives Jensen a stretch muffler.  Jensen kicks Julius away and he punches Julius and falls to the mat.  Briggs looks for the tag rope and we see Drake twirling it.  Briggs and Brutus make the tag but the referee does not allow Briggs to tag in because there is no rope.  Brutus knocks Briggs off the apron and Jensen with a rollup for the three count.

Winners:  Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs

— McKenzie is in the back with Von Wagner.  He says War Games is over.  Kyle is over.  My war is just beginning. Wagner leaves and Robert Stone shows up but McKenzie sends it back to Wade and Vic.

Back to commercial.

— We are back and Xyon Quinn says that Santos Escobar said that reality would hit him in the face.  We will see what happens.

— Duke Hudson makes his way to the ring and he has a stupid Ric Flair wig on.

Duke says he learned that you shouldn’t believe what you read online.  People said that Cameron Grimes shaved him bald, but I have a full head of hair.  He says everything is fine with his hair.  He says that Grimes is a liar and a fraud.

Cameron Grimes makes his way to the ring and he puts wrestling headgear on to make sure that Grimes doesn’t rip his wig off too easily.

Grimes says he figured Duke would come out like this but he didn’t expect this.  He shaved Duke bald and you are denying it?  You put me through a table, cut my hair, and embarrassed me.  I stood face to face with you and I cannot change who I am.  You cannot handle losing. 

Duke says what Grimes did was illegal.  Grimes cheated and pulled his trunks.  He says that Grimes is scum. Grimes says he knows who he is and where he is from.  If you want to do it one more time, let’s throw it all out the window and make it No Holds Barred. Duke tells Grimes he is on.

Grimes blocks a punch and he punches Duke.  Duke leaves the ring but Grimes grabs the headgear but Grimes cannot complete the deal.

— Jensen and Briggs celebrate in the back and KUSHIDA and Ikemen Jiro show up.  The Grizzled Young Veterans show up and they say that they won because of them. Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter walk through the room and they say they have two concert tickets.  Briggs and Jensen go with them. The Grizzled Young Veterans fight with Jiro and KUSHIDA. Karen Choo rises from behind the counter and then goes back to sleep.

— We are back and Grayson Waller is showing someone photos of what he was doing at War Games.  He asks her what she is doing but she says she has plans.  Waller asks who could she have plans with and we see her go with LA Knight and they drive off.

Carmelo Hayes vs. Dexter Lumis

Hayes with a side head lock and he flips over Lumis’ back.  Lumis with a punch and Lumis stares at Williams.  Hayes with a waist lock take down into a front face lock.  Lumis gets Hayes up but Hayes with a take down and cover.  Hayes with a side head lock and Lumis sends Hayes into the turnbuckles.  Lumis picks Hayes up by the bandage around the midsection and slams him to the mat.  Lumis with a slam.  Lumis sees Williams again and Lumis goes to the floor and Williams runs behind Wade and Vic.  Lumis punches Hayes when Hayes tries to attack him.  Lumis sends Hayes back into the ring.  Lumis runs Hayes into the turnbuckles and connects with shoulders.

Lumis misses a splash into the corner and then Hayes hits a springboard clothesline.  Hayes gets a near fall.  Hayes stomps on the hand and applies a Fujiwara arm bar.  Heyes with a front face lock and Lumis with a Thesz Press and he punches Hayes.  Lumis with a double sledge to Hayes’ midsection.  Lumis chokes Hayes in the corner.  Lumis sends Hayes to the floor.  Lumis stares at Williams and crawls towards him.  Hayes with a boot to Lumis’ head.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Hayes with a head lock but Lumis escapes.  Hayes with a take down and he punches the hand.  Hayes with a reverse chin lock.  Hayes stands on the hand but Lumis moves it when Hayes tries to stomp on it.  Hayes with a forearm and a knee to the hand.  Hayes with a snap mare and he slams the injured hand into the mat.  Hayes with an Irish whip.  Hayes kicks Lumis in the corner.  Williams says something to Lumis while Lumis is down and Lumis looks at Williams and Williams freaks out.

Hayes with a knee and Lumis counters a suplex with his own suplex.  Lumis with clotheslines and a punch.  Lumis with a clothesline into the corner and a bulldog.  Lumis with a belly-to-back suplex and elbow drop for a near fall.  Lumis goes for a uranage but Hayes escapes.  Hayes gets a near fall.  Lumis with Silence and Williams punches Lumis and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner by DQ:  Dexter Lumis

After the match, Lumis applies Silence on Williams but Hayes pulls Williams away.

— We go to the Shaman and it is Matt Riddle.

Riddle says he has been waiting for him to knock on his door for weeks.  It is time to get down to business.  Riddle asks them what is on their brain.  Nash thanks him for having them.  Nash says they thought they would have to work their way to the top but they debuted in the Dusty Cup and won it and then won the tag titles.  Riddle mentions winning the Dusty Cup with Pete Dunne.  Nash says they are worried that they have peaked.  Riddle says it is a rough journey and it will not be easy.  When you get to the top fo the mountain, the view is a chef’s kiss.  Wes mentions Imperium beat them for the titles.  Nash asks if they have to change.  Riddle says they have to be MSK all night and all day.  He says they will climb to the top of the mountain again together and he will be there every step of the way.

Riddle wants to know what is in the bag and he is impressed.

Mandy Rose is in the back with Jacy and Gigi.  She tells Vic to shut up.  The NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions have business to take care of, like real women, not these girls with their hand me downs and skateboards. She tells Vic to stop drooling.

We go to commercial.

— We are back and Indi and Persia talk about Dexter being at War Games.  Persia says now they can do what they planned to do.  Persia talks about how Indi is too focused on Dexter.  She needs to focus on the team and leave the love at home.  Indi says her life has been crazy.  She is commited to Dexter and the team. Johnny Gargano arrvies and he says the family is back together.

Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon vs. Toxic Attraction

Feroz and Jayne start things off and they lock up.  Jayne with slaps and Feroz pushes Jayne.  They lock up and Feroz with a side head lock.  Jayne with an Irish whip and Feroz floats over.  Feroz with a rollup for a near fall.  Leon tags in and she takes Jayne down with a wrist lock.  Leon with a side head lock.  Dolin makes the tag and she kicks Leon in the back.  Jayne with a clothesline.  Dolin with forearms.  Dolin chokes Leon in the ropes.  Dolin slams Leon’s face into the mat.  Dolin with a forearm to the back and Irish whip.  Dolin with a Yakuza Kick and Jayne tags in and she hits a cannonball for a near fall.  Jayne with a reverse chin lock.  Jayne with a forearm.

Leon gets Jayne on her shoulders and hits a  Death Valley Bomb.  Feroz and Dolin tag in and Feroz with judo throws and a drop kick.  Feroz goes up top and hits a cross body for a near fall.  Feroz with a waist lock and Jayne tags in and Jayne with a neck breaker when Feroz hits an O’Connor Roll on Dolin.  Jayne with a bicycle kick for the three count.

Winners:  Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin

After the match, Mandy says that is how it is done.  They are the baddest bitches in town and they still have all the gold.  Mandy says she knows everyone wants a shot at them.  Everyone is talking about them.  They are the talk of the town.  When you are this damn good, it is expected.  Let’s get one thing straight.  We are not running from anyone.  If anyone wants an opportunity, bring it on.  Whether it is little Cora Jade or Io Shirai or Raquel Gonzalez, we will be waiting.  

Cora Jade makes her way to the ramp with her arm in a sling.  She thanks Mandy for talking about her again.  Two weeks ago, I beat you.  We won War Games so while you are out here throwing this shade, I wanted to see if you wanted to handle this face to face.

Mandy says that Cora is not the one.  If you want me to embarrass you, bring your ass in here and we can settle it. Raquel Gonzalez makes her way tot eh ring with a chair and she enters the ring with Cora but the champs make their egress.
