Jerry “The King” Lawler has come to terms with WWE regarding a new deal, according to PWinsider as the word making the rounds today at Raw is he has put pen to paper.
Per the report, Lawler’s deal was set to expire at the end of this year, but he will be staying with the company. As of this writing, there’s no word yet on the details of the contract.
Lawler first made his WWE debut back in 1993 as a wrestler and later transitioned into becoming an announcer where he was paired with fellow WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross. He is still wrestling on the independent scene.
Lawler hasn’t been featured on WWE Monday Night Raw broadcast team in over a year and a half. This past October, Lawler made it known that he thinks the reason for this is due to his comment about Akira Tozawa.
