Bron Breakker Gets The Win For Team 2.0 At NXT WarGames

Bron Breakker Gets The Win For Team 2.0 At NXT WarGames – In the main event of tonight’s NXT WarGames, Team Black & Gold (Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Pete Dunne, and LA Knight) took on Team 2.0 (Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, Grayson Waller, and Tony D’Angelo) inside the WarGames cage.

Johnny Gargano turned back the clock by coming out to “Rebel Heart” as he appears to be finishing up in WWE. Gargano started the match against Carmelo Hayes. Gargano was able to take out Hayes before Waller could get in it was one on one for a brief time until Hayes was able to recover. Trick Williams tossed a chair into the ring and he tried to climb the cage but Gargano took him out by hitting the cage with the chair but Gargano was at a disadvantage at the hands of Hayes and Waller.

Pete Dunne was the next man to enter the match. Tony D’Angelo was the next man in the ring and Trick Williams brought tables, trash cans, kendo sticks and other weapons into the ring to help his team. Williams was stopped and chased to the back by Dexter Lumis, who was hiding under the ring. Meanwhile, D’Angelo locked the door to keep more people from entering the match.

LA Knight entered the cage by climbing over the top because of the door being locked. The referees were eventually able to find bolt cutters. Bron Breakker was up next for the heels. He cut the chain with the bolt cutters because the referees were not able to. The last man to enter the match was Tommaso Ciampa.

It was chaos for the rest of the match. At one point, Hayes was driven into a trash can that was wedged in between the ropes and Knight leaped up on the second rope so he could toss Waller off the top rope and through a table in the ring. That was followed by a tower of doom spot by the heels. Ciampa hit a Death Valley Driver off the top rope on Breakker and onto a trash can but that was not enough to pin Breakker. Waller hit a diving elbow off the top of the and onto Knight and through a table. D’Angelo used a crowbar on Dunne and then he hit a swinging neckbreaker off the top rope. Then it was a bloody Ciampa and Breakker slugging it out. Brekker hit a frankensteiner but Gargano was up to make the save for Ciampa. Ciampa and Gargano worked together and hit the DIY on Breakker but Hayes broke up the pin attempt. Hayes hit Gargano with a low blow but Gargano held on to him so that Ciampa could hit a knee to the head but then Breakker hit a spear on Ciampa through a table in the corner of the ring. Breakker then hit his powerslam finisher and he pinned Ciampa to win the match for his team.
