It’s pretty clear that the team of Omos and AJ Styles will be splitting up soon.
Once again this week, there were signs of trouble with the team. This week on Raw, Omos and Styles were counted out during their match with The Street Profits and Omos was not happy with how things went down. Omos walked out to the backstage area and he left Styles in the ring.
The break-up has been in the plans for a while and at one point, Vince McMahon wanted to break them up during the WWE Draft. The reason why McMahon agreed to hold off on the break-up at the time is that people in power spoke up about Omos not being quite ready to be a singles wrestler yet.
The first tease of the split happened during the Survivor Series pay-per-view during a battle royal when Omos tried to save Styles from being eliminated and, in the process, eliminated Styles because someone attacked Omos from behind. Omos was technically credited for eliminating Styles even though it was an accident.
Omos went on to eliminate 12 wrestlers in that match, which is what WWE does when they want to set someone up for a big push and that looks to be what is happening here.
