Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE has high hopes for Austin Theory.
During the recent WWE Draft, Theory was sent to RAW and then was immediately inserted into a feud with Jeff Hardy. It looks like Hardy will be used to put over Theory since Hardy was drafted to SmackDown and only has a few weeks left on the Raw brand.
Theory, 24, signed with WWE in 2019 and then was brought up to the main roster to be part of Zelina Vega’s stable alongside Angel Garza and Seth Rollins.
Theory was sent back to NXT and feuded with Bronson Reed before ultimately joining Johnny Gargano’s “The Way” stable with Candice LeRea and Indi Hartwell. He is off to a good start on Raw since he is getting significant TV time for his feud with Hardy.
