WWE Edits Charlotte Flair – Becky Lynch Title Exchange – On Saturday’s encore broadcast of SmackDown on FOX, WWE edited the segment with Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair so that the part where Flair dropped the RAW Women’s Title was not shown.
As seen below, WrestlingNews has shared the version of the segment which aired during the Saturday replay, which just showed Flair handing the gold to Sonya Deville:

As noted, the big news coming out of the show was the title exchange segment ended up going off-script, leading to a backstage confrontation between Charlotte and Lynch.
PWInsider reported that Flair had voiced concerns about the title exchange segment making her title reign look weak, prior to SmackDown. It was later noted that there was heat on Flair after the confrontation, but not on Lynch, who many believed was just standing her ground.
In an update by talkSPORT, apparently both Charlotte and Lynch expressed concerns about the initial plan from Vince McMahon of Lynch getting both titles for a moment, before tossing one to Charlotte. After the mix-up, Charlotte told Lynch the title drop was an accident, although few backstage believe that to be true.
